The project involves the reconstruction of the road No 137 of the Słubice - Sulęcin – Międzyrzecz class Z section with a total length of 11.20 km and its adaptation to a load capacity of 11.5 tonnes/axle. It will be implemented in the build formula. The project implements Policy Objective CP3 A better connected Europe through increased mobility, Specific Objective Action FELB.04.01 Road infrastructure, ERDF/CF.CP3.II. The aim of the project is to develop sustainable mobility based on regional road infrastructure, improving traffic conditions on roads, including increasing traffic safety, increasing the mobility of residents (facilitating access to the labour market, social, cultural services or education). This investment is of strategic importance for the improvement of traffic conditions and further development of the region. The implementation of the reconstruction of DW 137 will improve the passage on the section constituting the main transport axis between Ośno Lubuskie, Sulęcin and Międzyrzecz and the section of the S3 expressway on the junction in Międzyrzecz. The project facilitates access to higher category roads, including the TEN-T network (motorway A2 – via S3). The implementation of the investment will reduce emissions to the environment, as well as provide a significant improvement in traffic safety. The project will improve the regional and local transport system, increase the comfort of travel, promote the performance of public transport services of public interest, which will increase the number of users of the rebuilt infrastructure. The project will directly contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the region by improving the availability of road infrastructure, which will also have a positive impact on the functioning of economic activity. It is assumed that the following tasks will be carried out: 1.Design documentation - developed design documentation for the investment and obtained the necessary permits for the implementation of construction works. 2.Feasibility Study - prepared feasibility study and application for co-financing. 3.Promotion of the project The project assumes carrying out promotional and information activities, including information boards, organizing an event or information and promotion activity at an important moment of the project implementation and other promotional activities, including social media and regional media. Documents related to the implemented project, in particular those that will be made public, will bear signs: European Funds, colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union and the official promotional logo of the voivodship. The planned promotional activities will be in accordance with the provisions of the Guidelines on information and promotion of European Funds for 2021-2027. 4.Construction works Ośno Lubuskie – Drogomin section in km 25+020-28+242 with a length of 3.222 km, in km 28+900-32+650 about length 3,750 km - reconstruction of the road, existing slopes and roadsides, improvement of surface drainage, construction/reconstruction of roadside ditches, reconstruction/construction of culverts, installation of protective barriers, reconstruction of conflicting elements of the telecommunications network. Wędrzyn – Trzemeszno Lubuskie section in km 47+080-50+371.84 with a length of 3,291 km - reconstruction of the road, reconstruction of intersections, existing exits and roadsides, reconstruction of existing and construction of new pavements, construction of a bus bay with a platform, reconstruction of ditches and roadsides, reconstruction of the culvert, installation of protective barriers, reconstruction of conflicting elements of the telecommunications network, reconstruction/construction of lighting, construction of rainwater drainage elements along with water drainage and regulation of the Postomia riverbed. Section Trzemeszno Lubuskie – Grochowo at km 52+773-53+710 by 0.937 km. - reconstruction of provincial road No 137, extension of slopes, reconstruction of roadsides, reconstruction/profiling of ditches, reconstruction/construction of culverts, construction of pavement, installation of protective barriers, reconstruction of conflicting elements of the telecommunications network, construction of elements of rainwater sewerage. The project will be implemented by the Board of Provincial Roads in Zielona Góra.
