RIDDER is planning to implement a project entitled: "Increasing the competitiveness of P.P.H.U. RIDDER Tomasz Wojtyniak through the implementation of technology increasing the efficiency and automation of the production of socks." The aim of the project is to modernize the machine park by purchasing 8 modern knitting machines that will replace the currently used equipment. The main objectives of the project are: a) Increasing production efficiency Currently, the production of socks in our plant is carried out using machines that require manual operations related to sewing the fingers of socks. This process includes overturning socks on the left side, manual transport to the machine, laying, stitching, dragging to the right side and putting away. Manual operations significantly extend the production time, which is about 6 minutes per pair of socks. The new machines will allow for the automation of these processes, which will reduce the production time to about 4 minutes per pair of socks. Increased production efficiency will allow you to complete more orders in less time. b) Enriching design Currently, our machines allow you to use up to 4 thread colors plus background color. The new machines will allow you to work with 6 thread colors plus background color, which will significantly increase the design capabilities of our products. Thanks to this, we will be able to offer more diverse and attractive designs, which will attract new customers and increase the loyalty of current ones. c) Noise reduction - purchased machines will generate less noise, which will improve the working conditions in the plant and the comfort of employees. The investment in new, quieter knitting machines will bring many benefits for both employees and the company and the environment. Improving working conditions, increasing safety, employee satisfaction, a positive impact on the environment and the local community, and compliance with regulations and standards are key aspects that will contribute to RIDDER's long-term success and sustainability. d)Reducing energy consumption Modern knitting machines are more energy efficient than our current equipment. Reducing electricity consumption will translate into lower operating costs.Less energy consumption is also an environmental benefit that fits into our sustainability strategy. The purchase of new knitting machines is a key element of our project aimed at increasing the company's competitiveness. The introduction of modern production technologies brings a number of benefits that will allow us to strengthen our position on the market, improve the quality of products and increase production efficiency. The modern market of socks is very competitive, and customers expect the highest quality products, available in a short time. New machines will allow us to respond faster to changing trends and customer needs. Thanks to increased efficiency, we will be able to fulfill larger wholesale orders, as well as deliver products on time. The project is aimed at our current (wholesale, clothing companies and partners) and potential retail and wholesale customers, who will be able to benefit from higher quality products, richer design and faster order fulfillment. RIDDER employees, who will work in better conditions and with modern equipment, will also benefit. As part of the Project, a task related to the purchase of 8 new knitting machines will be carried out, which will include the implementation of new machines as an integral part of the production line, ensuring continuity of production during the transition to new equipment, and ongoing quality and performance control. The project "Increasing the competitiveness of P.P.H.U. RIDDER Tomasz Wojtyniak through the implementation of technology increasing the efficiency and automation of socks production" aims to modernize the machine park, which will translate into increased efficiency, enrichment of design, reduction of noise and reduction of energy consumption.
