Implementation of the results of scientific research on the development of innovative feed formulas

The project concerns the implementation of the results of scientific research on the development of innovative feed formulas for various groups of farm animals, including poultry, pigs and cattle. The research work was carried out by the Institute of Animal Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and allowed the development of feed additive recipes that have been tested and optimized for nutritional and cost effectiveness. As part of the project, it is planned to implement these innovative products for production on an industrial scale, which will improve the efficiency of animal production and reduce feeding costs. To start production, it is necessary to purchase a line for mixing raw materials and their packaging consisting of the following equipment: 1. Unloading stations for the above-mentioned raw materials from Big-Bags to the mixer - 3 pcs. 2. Screw feeders of the above-mentioned raw materials from the Big-Bag unloading station to the mixer - 3 pcs. 3. Four-strip horizontal mixer - 1 pc. 4. Hopper - 1 pc. 5. Frequency inverter - 1 pc 6. Screw feeder - 1 pc. 7. Stainless steel - 1 pc. 8. Grinding mill - 1 pc. 9. Tank - 1 pc 10. Screw feeder of ground finished products from the mixer - 1 pc. As part of the project, indirect costs will also be incurred, which will include, among others, the costs of the project coordinator, maintenance staff, accounting services and the costs of necessary information and promotion activities. The project will be implemented in one stage, including incurring the above-mentioned expenses. At each stage of the project, any form of discrimination based on sex, race, ethnic origin, religion, belief, age or sexual orientation will be eliminated. The purchased line for mixing raw materials and their packaging will be controlled from the level of the control panel equipped with a touch screen. Thanks to this, the machine will be able to be operated by people with reduced efficiency The implementation of the project will contribute to changing the brand image and market position of the Applicant both on the local, regional and international market. The solutions planned in the project qualify as highly innovative undertakings. As a result of the implementation of the project, the Applicant will gain a lasting competitive advantage. The products introduced as a result of the project will be particularly attractive for large poultry, pig and cattle farms. These companies, due to the scale of production, are looking for effective nutritional solutions that will reduce production costs while increasing productivity and improving animal health. The products will also be dedicated to small and medium-sized farms that are engaged in small-scale animal breeding. Thanks to the developed recipes, these farms will have the opportunity to increase competitiveness by optimizing feed costs and improving the quality of animal production. The availability of different variants of recipes will allow to adapt the offer to the individual needs of smaller breeders. The customer group also includes feed manufacturers, who will be able to use the developed recipes as a basis for the production of commercial compound feed. The products will also be targeted at agricultural cooperatives and breeders' associations, which bring together farmers seeking to jointly optimise production processes. The implementation of the developed recipes within the cooperatives will allow for a collective increase in the efficiency and profitability of breeding, which is particularly important for producer groups operating jointly on the market. Products may also be of interest to research centres and scientific institutes that conduct research on new solutions in the field of animal nutrition. Cooperation with such bodies may lead to the further development of products and their adaptation to new market needs and changes in animal nutrition regulations.
