Modernisation of the district heating system of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Łask - construction of a heat network with a connection and a heat exchange in the Przylesie housing estate and reconstruction of the K-8 boiler room at ul. Fir 2 in Łask

The aim is to modernise the district heating system in the Przylesie housing estate in Łask, including the construction of a thermal energy storage facility with a total capacity of 1.04 MWh. The project provides for the construction of 3 units for the production of heat energy from RES and the construction of 1 installation for the production of electricity from RES. The implementation will save thermal energy in the amount of 4991,6667 MWh / year. Primary energy consumption will decrease by 8802,9168 MWh/year. The specific objective is to promote energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The implementation will reduce the demand for conventional energy and reduce the emissions of air pollutants responsible for greenhouse gas emissions - estimated greenhouse gas emissions will decrease by - 2577,3728 tonnes CO2eq/year. The investment includes the construction of a heat network, two-wire with a length of 226 m along with the connection of 1 facility; and connecting an additional 100 users; modernisation of the energy source by decommissioning coal boilers, installation of air heat pumps with thermal energy storage and PV installation, installation of a gas cogenerator and for peak use – gas boilers. The above will allow to obtain additional electricity generation capacity from RES at the level of 0.0462 MW and thermal energy from RES at the level of 0.53 MW. The project provides for the cooperation of 1 large enterprise. The scope of the project includes the preparation, design and execution of modernization works, including the commissioning of the installation. Information on EU funding is planned: placement of signs of the European Funds, colours of the Republic of Poland and the EU, the official promotional logo of WŁ on information and promotion activities and materials; placement of an information board at the place of implementation; preparing photographic documentation and placing it with a description on the website; publication of the article in the local, regional and provincial press informing about the project. The institutional contractor of the project is Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Łask (Investor and Main Beneficiary). The benefits of the implementation will be directly ok. 3 800 people – residents using facilities supplied with heat from the heating system.
