Extension of provincial road No. 583 and No. 573 Bedlno - Żychlin - voivodship border - II Stage, section Żychlin - voivodship border

The project concerns the extension of DW 583 on the section Żychlin - voivodship border. In the existing state, the voivodship road No 583 on the section in question, i.e. from km 5+968 to km 7+627, is a class G road. It has a single-lane cross-section with two lanes. The provincial road junction has a bituminous surface with a road width of approx. 4:00 to OK. 7.60 m. Double sided walkway with variable width from approx. 1.3 m to approx. 2.20 m is located directly or away from the road. Outside the built-up area, the roadway has groundsides with a variable width of at least 1.5 m. There are 2 non-bay bus stops on the road. Dewatering of the road in the urban area is carried out through rain inlets to the existing rainwater drainage system, in the remaining surface area to the adjacent area or to road ditches. In the road lane there are bushes and trees, as well as lawns. In the road surface of road No 583 there are longitudinal, transverse, mesh cracks and patches that are the remains of local repairs of the abrasive layer. Locally there are cavities (crushings) of the wear layer at the edge of the roadway. Under the provincial road on the drainage trench No. R-2/5/PI there is a concrete, tubular culvert with a diameter of approx. 1.0 m. length approx. 10 m in km approx. 6+995. The subject of the investment is the expansion of the provincial road No. 583 on the section from km 5+968 to km 7+627 with accompanying infrastructure, with a total length of approx. 1659m. The investment aims to improve road traffic conditions, improve road safety and adapt road extension solutions to technical and geometrical parameters of technical class G, current traffic volume and existing land use. Loads 115 kN/axle, traffic category KR4. The scope of work will include, among others: expansion of provincial road No 583 for a length of approximately 1659 m, extension of intersections (including two roundabout crossings), reconstruction and extension of sections of municipal roads, district and provincial road No 573, demolition and construction of pavements, construction of a bicycle path with pedestrian traffic permit, reconstruction, demolition and construction of individual exits with covered ditches, construction of bus and parking bays, reconstruction and construction of road trenches, demolition and construction of rainwater drainage, demolition and construction of a road corridor, reconstruction of a drainage trench, demolition and construction of lighting, reconstruction of existing technical infrastructure (networks: electricity, telecommunications, water supply, sanitary and gas sewerage), necessary in connection with the implementation of the investment felling trees and shrubs, planting greenery. As part of the implementation of this project, the following road elements of land development were designed: - bitumen road of the provincial road No 583 with a width of 7.0 m (one-way road in two lanes with a width of 3.50 m each.) - bicycle path with pedestrian traffic with a width of 2.6 -2.8 m with a bitumen surface, - pavements made of concrete cube, - individual exits with a surface of concrete cube, - bus bays with a surface of stone cube, - parking bay made of concrete cube. The investment assumes the establishment of a new permanent traffic organization on the entire section covered by the expansion along with side roads in the area of intersections. On the area of the task for the drainage of the roadway and elements of the road lane, rainwater sewerage is designed as an element of the infrastructure related to the road. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of road transport in the Łódzkie voivodship, including ensuring convenient access to the TEN-T network (A1 via DK 92). Thanks to the expansion of the provincial road No. 583, a convenient transport connection will be created, which will increase the mobility of residents and increase the investment attractiveness of the region. The infrastructure will be resilient to climate change.
