The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of road transport in the Łódzkie voivodship, including ensuring convenient access to the TEN-T network (A1 via DK 42 and DK 74). Thanks to the expansion of the provincial road No. 742, a convenient transport connection will be created, which will increase the mobility of residents and increase the investment attractiveness of the region. The infrastructure will be resilient to climate change. The investment consists in the extension of the provincial road No. 742 in the town of Bąkowa Góra from km 27+150.00 to km 29+312.44. The section under development, with a total length of 2162.44 m, is located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in the Piotrków County, in the municipality of Ręczno. In the existing state, provincial road No. 742 runs through areas with dominant farm buildings in the village of Bąkowa Góra and along meadows and cultivated fields. The technical parameters of the existing road are abnormal. The car has a width. ok. 5m-5,5m, ground side approx. 1.2m-1.5m, transverse variable drops. The condition of the road surface is unsatisfactory. The appearance of bituminous surface is diverse and heterogeneous. There are structural ruts, mesh, transverse and longitudinal cracks, as well as numerous traces of partial repairs. The edges of the roadway show many deformations, clumps and cavities. The poor condition of the road surface described above increases the noise and vibrations emitted by vehicles moving on the road. Roadsides are etched by cars and their technical condition is insufficient. The road is surface dewatered to residual road ditches as well as roadsides and green areas. The technical condition of the current engineering structures is unsatisfactory and their demolition is required. Ultimately, 2 culverts will be built under the provincial road. The current communication solution does not ensure comfort of travel, hinders the work of drivers, and above all poses a danger to motorists and pedestrians. The road parameters are not adapted to the scale of the conducted and forecasted traffic, all the more so they require investment measures to be taken as soon as possible. The subject of the investment is a comprehensive extension of the provincial road No. 742 in the town of Bąkowa Góra on the section from km 27+150.00 to km 29+312.44. The investment is aimed at improving road traffic conditions, improving the safety of all road users and designing solutions to expand the road to technical and geometric parameters of technical class G, current traffic volume and existing terrain. The scope of the investment in question provides, inter alia: - extension of provincial road No 742, - extension of intersections of provincial road No 742 with municipal roads, - reconstruction and extension of sections of municipal roads, - demolition and construction of pavements, - demolition and construction of slopes with covered ditches, - construction of bus bays, - reconstruction and construction of road ditches, - construction of rainwater drainage, - demolition of existing road culverts, - construction of a culvert under the provincial road and under the municipal road, - construction of a culvert constituting a passage for amphibians, - demolition and construction of lighting, - construction of a technological channel, - reconstruction of existing technical infrastructure (electricity, telecommunications and water supply networks), - demolition of existing sewerage and rainwater drainage, - construction: a temporary bypass, a temporary culvert under a temporary road, a temporary drainage trench with the construction of a temporary culvert and a covered trench. After completion, the road will have the following characteristics. techn. parameters: - technical class: G, - traffic category: KR4, - surface load: 115kN/axle, - lane width: 3,50m, - width of the pavement: min. 2,0m, - width of the slopes: min. 1,50m, - lateral drop: - the road: 2.0% (does not apply to arches), - pavement: 2.0%, - shoulders: 2,0%, 4,0%, 6,0%.
