Extension of provincial road No 784 in the town of Hardwice

The main objective of this project is to improve the quality and efficiency of road transport in the Łódzkie Voivodeship, including ensuring convenient access to the TEN-T network (A1 via DK 91 and 42). Thanks to the expansion of the provincial road No. 784, a convenient transport connection will be created, which will increase the mobility of residents and increase the investment attractiveness of the region. The infrastructure will be resilient to climate change. The investment consists in the extension of the provincial road No 784 in the town of Szczewice from km 15+337.50 to km 16+312.00 (product indicator – 0.97 km). The section under development, with a total length of 974.50 m, is located in the district of Radomszczański, in the municipality of Gidle, in the Łódź Voivodeship. In the existing state, the provincial road No. 784 on the section 974.50m runs through the built-up area of the village of Hardwice. The technical parameters of the existing road are non-standard. The rover has a width of ~5,19-6,06m, pavements ~1,65-1,96m, groundsides ~0,82-1,58m, transverse slopes variable. The bituminous surface of the road on the section covered by the project is in very poor technical condition. The appearance of the bituminous surface of the provincial road is diverse and heterogeneous. There are structural ruts. There are many signs of partial repairs. Mesh, transverse and longitudinal cracks occur on 80% of the road surface. The edges of the roadway show many deformations, clumps and cavities. The poor condition of the road surface described above increases the noise and vibrations emitted by vehicles moving on the road. Roadsides are etched by cars and their technical condition is insufficient. The section of the provincial road in question is surface dewatered into residual road ditches and roadsides and green areas. The technical condition of the current engineering structures on this section of DW 784 is unsatisfactory and their demolition is required. Ultimately, 1 culvert will be built under the provincial road. The current communication solution does not ensure comfort of travel, hinders the work of drivers, and above all poses a danger to motorists and pedestrians. The road parameters are not adapted to the scale of the conducted and forecasted traffic, all the more so they require investment measures to be taken as soon as possible. The subject of the investment is a comprehensive extension of the provincial road No. 784 in the town of Szczewice on the section from km 15+337.50 to km 16+312.00. The investment aims to improve road traffic conditions, improve the safety of all road users and design solutions for road expansion to technical and geometric parameters of technical class G, current traffic volume and existing land use. The scope of the investment in question provides, inter alia: - extension of provincial road No 784, - demolition and construction of exits, - extension of intersections, - extension and reconstruction of district road No 3904E and municipal roads No 112070E and No 112061E, - demolition of culverts, - construction of a culvert, - construction of a temporary bypass road with a temporary culvert and temporary drainage trenches, - construction of pavements, - construction of bus and parking bays, - construction of rainwater drainage, open and covered road trenches, - reconstruction of a section of road trench along the district road and drainage trenches, - construction of drainage, - construction of road lighting, - reconstruction of electricity, telecommunications and water supply networks, - construction of a technological channel. After the implementation of the project, the road will have the following characteristic technical parameters: - technical class: G, - traffic category: KR4, - surface load: 115kN/axle, - lane width: 3,50m, - width of the pavement: min. 2,0m, - lateral drop: road: 2.0% (not applicable to arches), pavement: 2.0%. bays: 2,0%.
