Extension of provincial road No. 482 on the section intersection with DK 74 - Sokolniki

The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of road transport in the Łódzkie voivodship, including ensuring convenient access to the TEN-T network (indirectly S8). Thanks to the expansion of the provincial road No. 482, a convenient transport connection will be created, which will increase the mobility of residents and increase the investment attractiveness of the region. The infrastructure will be resilient to climate change. Provincial road No 482 in the existing state, in the area in question, runs through cultivated areas, fields, meadows with loose housing, economic and industrial development. In the road lane there are no sidewalks, separate bicycle routes, separate bus bays. The existing bitumen roadway has a width of approx. 10.0 m and consists of 2 lanes with a width of 3.5 m and bilateral bituminous sides with a width of 1.5 m. On the section under consideration, the provincial road No 482 has a separate pavement only on the south side in the area of Sokolniki. In the main part of the area of the planned investment, pedestrian and bicycle traffic takes place on the side of the provincial road – no traffic segregation. The subject of the investment is a comprehensive extension of the provincial road No. 482 on the section from km 90+510 to km 92+106, i.e. approx. 1,596 km. The investment is aimed at improving road traffic conditions and road, bicycle and pedestrian safety. The project assumes the route of the provincial road No. 482 in its existing course. The intersection of provincial road No 482 with municipal road No 118206E was designed as a three-lane intersection. Technical Parameters: - functional-technical class of the road - G (main road), - load-bearing capacity of the surface structure 115kN/axle - traffic category KR4, - cross-section, single-lane double lane road (1x2), - width of traffic lanes 3.50 m, - width of the pedestrian-bicycle track 3.00 m, - width of the pavement 2.00 m, - width of the bus bay 3.00 m, - width of the roadside 1.25 m or 1.5 m. The range includes: - extension of the provincial road - reconstruction of the intersection with the municipal road - demolition of the bridge and construction of the culvert; temporary construction works will also be carried out: bypass, culvert, exit and circulating trough. - construction of a pedestrian-bike route - construction of bus bays - construction of public and individual exits - construction of road drainage - construction of road lighting - reconstruction of conflicting underground weapon networks The project assumes the following tasks: 1) Road works; 2) Compensation - acquisition of real estate; 3) Expenditure on accessibility; 4) Indirect costs (4% of the value of eligible direct costs) including, among others, promotional activities, under which, among others, the implementation of information and memorial boards, placing information about the project on the website, marking materials related to the project and documents related to the implementation of the project are planned to be made public. Including the administrative department and the employees of the ZDW responsible for, among others, conducting the tender procedure, investor supervision, monitoring and settling the project, financial settlement, purchase of real estate - payment of compensation, information and promotional services, supervision over the proper implementation of the entire project. The expansion of the existing road system is of strategic importance for the improvement of traffic conditions and further development of the region: ensure a convenient intra-regional connection, create a favourable connection of the region directly to the national road network (DK 74) and indirectly to the TEN-T network: S8, will facilitate tourist and economic traffic. The investment will increase the level of safety of all users of the route. The project will increase the attractiveness of the region as a place of work, residence and leisure, as well as the development of the potential of the region as a whole. The investment will contribute to improving the communication accessibility of the analyzed area.
