This project complies with the project type defined in the SZOP FEŁ 2021-2027 for measure FELD.04.02 – type 1 (KDM1). The project consists in the extension of Reymonta Street (from the roundabout to DK12) and the district road No. 1712E to the town of Charłupia Wielka. The length of the section of road planned for reconstruction is 3142 m. The section in question is a class Z (collective) district public road. Traffic category KR4, There are no public transport vehicles on the planned road, but after its reconstruction, the communication gap in public transport enabling new connections will disappear. The section of the road covered by the project runs through residential areas, recreational areas and areas of meadows, forests and wasteland. The project aims to develop and improve sustainable, climate-resilient, smart and intermodal mobility at national, regional and local level, including improving access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility. The project is implemented within the boundaries of Łódź (KDF7). The other objectives of the project are: a) improving the link between the local road network and the national road network – the road connects towns in three neighbouring municipalities, b) increasing the transport accessibility of the analysed area and improving access to the investment areas where Ceramika Tubądzin, Zarecki Foods, Asclepios are located. c) liquidation of the so-called National Roads Network. ‘bottlenecks’ in the road network of the region by increasing the speed of travel on the extended section, (d) filling the gaps in the road network of the region – the investment will increase the quality of communication routes in the region and integrate them into the existing transport network, (e) improving road safety in the province, (f) improving the condition of the road system while increasing the safety of its users, (g) ensuring a surface standard capable of transporting vehicles with a load of 115 kN/axle (KDMS1), (h) significantly minimizing the operating costs of motor vehicles and preventing their excessive consumption; i) improving the comfort of movement; j) reduction of emissions of harmful substances into the ambient air, k) reduction of the level of communication noise – improvement of the acoustic climate, l) improvement of the image of the analysed area, m) reduction of social nuisance. Scope of work: as a result of the project, a carriageway of width will be built. 6.00m, it is planned to build a one-sided cycle path on foot along the entire 2.5m wide section of the road. On the planned section, it is planned to build three raised pedestrian crossings with a width of 6x6m, illuminated by lamps powered by photovoltaic panels (RES). Thresholds will be marked with a type II vertical marking and a horizontal (thick-layered) marking. It is planned to install energy-intensive barriers and railings together with vertical and horizontal markings, including the installation of active signs D-6, integration plates with protrusions and blind lead plates It is assumed that the annual number of users of the reconstructed local road as a result of the project will amount to 146 000 passenger-kilometres / year. The planned road section connects to DK12, which directly connects to the S8 route creating a TEN-T network connection (KDMS2); it is planned to use green-blue infrastructure – rainwater will be discharged to green areas in the road lane, and to the existing drainage ditch (KDMS4). The applicant has all the documents necessary to start all the investments covered by the project (KMPO1). The project complies with the n+3 rule, scheduled to be completed on 30.11.2026 (KMPO2). The project is implemented in a rural area. The beneficiary plans to inform residents about the investment through information/articles on websites, through local media. The information on the website will comply with the accessibility requirements.
