Modernization and retrofitting of modern workshop equipment in the Vocational School Complex No. 1 in Zduńska Wola

The subject of the project is modernization and retrofitting with modern workshop equipment for practical training of professions in the Vocational School Complex No. 1 in Zduńska Wola (hereinafter: IACS No 1). As a result of the project, the building in which the workshops operate will be modernised. Among others, three modern workshops for training in professions will be created: logistician, mechanic and mechanic of motor vehicles. Studios will be created: 1. logistics – faithfully reflecting a modern, computerised warehouse, with professional racks and a full picking path, 2. mechanical – with modern lathes, machine tools, plotters, grinders or a 3D printer, 3. mechanics of motor vehicles – with a full diagnostic path. The workshops will be modernized in accordance with the principle of accessibility, new toilets and changing rooms will be created. The side entrance to the building will be rebuilt. Architectural barriers to access to workshops will be removed. The project includes the reconstruction of the sanitary part, including the renovation of toilets and the separation of a toilet for people with disabilities, the development of the area around the building and specialist equipment for learning professions. The main premise of the project is to provide students with access to modern technologies, including equipment corresponding to the technologies and techniques used in the profession, in addition to improving technical and economic standards and ensuring the accessibility of the facility for people with disabilities. The modernized building will not change its function, it will continue to be used for practical apprenticeships. The project fully meets the requirements of the basics of teaching, they will allow students to prepare for work in the profession on modern equipment that will actually be used in their future workplace. The scope of the project includes the following tasks, a detailed description of which is provided in Section D of the WoD: 1. Development of design documentation; 2. Construction work; 3. Supply of specialist equipment; 4. Investor supervision with design supervision; 5. Indirect costs. The implementation of the planned actions will allow the achievement of the main objective, which is to improve equal access to quality and inclusive education services through the development of IACS infrastructure No 1. It will be achieved through specific objectives: - improving the technical condition of the school facility by carrying out construction works; - increasing the attractiveness and efficiency of education by retrofitting teaching rooms with new equipment; - improving accessibility of the facility for persons with disabilities by removing architectural barriers and installing adapted equipment. In the light of the above, it is confirmed that the project falls under the specific objective for action FELD.06.01 Educational infrastructure. According to the provisions of the PFU, the project will be implemented in two stages. The first of them will include the development of design documentation, including, among others, an architectural and construction project. The second will cover construction works carried out on the basis of a valid building permit. Therefore, it is indicated that the project will be implemented in the "design and build" formula. The project provided for indirect costs, including: promotional activities, including an information and memorial board, information on the website www.powiatzdunskowolski.pl and on the social media of the applicant, as well as the placement of existing logos on the documentation related to the project. ZSZ No. 1 is one of the largest educational institutions in the region. He has extensive experience and a long tradition in educating staff for local and regional companies. The school has been providing vocational training since 1945.
