Разом - support for the integration of third-country nationals

The aim of the project is to support the socio-economic integration of third-country nationals, including mainly Ukrainian citizens, who, as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, found themselves in Łódź. This objective will be achieved by 31.07.2027 through the implementation of actions increasing access to social services under project type 1: Social, professional and educational integration and project type 3: Capacity building of JTS to facilitate access to services for third-country nationals. According to MOPS data, aid was granted in the period 06/2022-12/2023 approx. 3000 people who arrived from Ukraine after 24 February 2022. According to CAPZ data, as of 8 January 2023, 160 children/youth - third-country nationals (159 of Ukrainian origin, 1 of Moldovan origin) are staying in houses administered by CAPZ.According to UMŁ data (from 22 December 2023), there were 4 880 Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland after 24 February 2022 (4795 in public branches and 85 in 6 preparatory branches). The project is addressed to 200 children and adolescents and 800 adults - third-country nationals residing or working in Łódź, as well as 135 Polish children and adolescents living or working in the Łódź voivodeship. As part of the project, the developers of MOPS and CAPZ plan to implement such activities as: family assistant support, intercultural assistant support, Polish language courses, translation and interpretation services, MOPS website translation, , psychological support, pedagogical support, social skills training, support group, tutoring, career counselling, training and internships, as well as colonies, winter camps and semi-colonies integrating the host community and third-country nationals. Support under the project will be implemented only in the local community, will be free, individualized and tailored to the needs of the participant, his/her situation on the labour market, knowledge of the Polish language, education, qualifications, cultural differences, gender, age, health situation, etc. The project assumes the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including accessibility for persons with disabilities by planning activities that will enable fair and full participation in the project by persons regardless of their sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation. The activities will be carried out with care for the availability of space for people with special needs (e.g. wheelchair users, mothers with a child in a wheelchair, blind and visually impaired people) and forms of communication (available electronic documents, project information in Ukrainian and in Ukrainian sign language, recruitment and information documents in Ukrainian). If possible, support in the project will be provided by people of Ukrainian origin who speak Ukrainian and Polish. At each stage of the project, we will ask UP about their special needs, mentioning how to meet them, e.g. sign language interpreter, OzN assistant support and others. The project assumes activities ensuring compliance with the principle of equality between women and men, so that at no stage of the project implementation there are equality barriers, compliance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, equal opportunities and accessibility and the principle of sustainable development.
