Implementation of a series of Social Skills Training and individual consultations for the charges of the Curatorial Center No. 2 at the District Court for Łódź Śródmieście in Łódź

The aim of the project is to increase the assessment of self-esteem and self-confidence, knowledge about good communication and relations with the environment, about healthy reactions and emotional management by an average of 20% in at least 20 adolescents aged 11-18 years, implementing an educational measure in the form of referral to the curatorial center at the Curatorial Center No. 2 at the District Court for Łódź Śródmieście in Łódź (target group).The goals will be achieved by implementing tasks in the form of Social Skills Training (TUS) for the group and individual consultations for the patients of the Center from 01.09.2025 to 30.04.2026, which will take place on its premises.TUS is 36 teaching hours (12 meetings), and the number of individual consultations in the program is 140 clock hours (7h x 20 participants).The effects will be measured using questionnaire forms before and after classes, as well as on the basis of the participant' progress assessment form, completed by the Centre Manager.Challenges and progress will be documented in the form of an individual development path.The TUS training supports the development of social competences and helps participants to find themselves in relationships with others,increases self-esteem and gives tools for effective functioning in everyday life (project results).The selection of the form of youth work was recommended by the Centre Manager, based on many years of experience and demand shown by the group.This also corresponds to § 6 point 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of Justice of 23 November 2022 on curatorial centres, which reads (fragments): ‘Educational, rehabilitation, therapeutic, preventive and control activities in the centre are carried out by:7)the formation of attitudes and social skills, 8)the science of independent coping with life difficulties’. The project will meet: 1.Principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination-implementation of tasks enabling all persons to participate fairly, fully in all areas of life, irrespective of their sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.It shall not apply to activities that would result in discrimination or in violation/impossibility of exercising human rights and fundamental freedoms on an equal basis with others.Products of the project may be used by any person, including a disabled person.The TUS shall be designed to be useful to all to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialised design (universal design), taking into account the diagnosis made in the following areas: -target group-selected taking into account the needs of society,no barriers to disability have been identified,accessibility for boys and girls, -recruitment and project information-implementation of recruitment and information meetings in rooms accessible to persons with disabilities,development of documents in an accessible format, -tasks, including indicators and outputs include activities ensuring the use of accessibility mechanisms, including architectural and digital, -project budget-expenditure correspond to the principles of accessibility, -potential and experience of the applicant in the project area. 2.Principles of equality between women and men-implementation of actions to achieve a state in which women and men are assigned the same social value, equal rights and equal responsibilities, all will have equal access to the use of project resources, without restrictions due to gender stereotypes.The project will be an exception to the minimum standard (closed recruitment - children aged 11-18).However, the principle of accessibility of participation for girls and boys will be ensured. It shall comply with the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
