The aim of the project is to support 75 children and adolescents aged over 4 years (37K, 38M) in the period from 1.12.2023 to 31.03.2027 by extending the support offer of 30 existing places of provision of services addressed to children and adolescents in the form of a specialist day support facility. The sociotherapeutic community operating since 2019 on the basis of an entry in the register of day support facilities under item 39, in Łódź will be: organize sociotherapeutic, therapeutic, corrective, compensatory and speech therapy classes; conduct individual corrective programs, psycho-correction programs, psycho-prophylactic programs, in particular psychological therapy. The existing offer of the common room will be expanded by conducting speech therapy classes, theatre workshops and cultural outings for the participants of the common room. The main goal is to improve the quality of assistance addressed to children over 5 years of age and young people who come from pathological families or have a difficult financial and life situation, in close cooperation with government and local government services dealing with solving the problems of children and families, which will contribute to reducing the phenomenon of social exclusion. The project complies with the principles of equality, i.e. the principle of equality between women and men and the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination. The project will implement activities enabling all persons who meet the formal criteria to participate in the project, who have qualified for the project on the basis of the assessment resulting from the recruitment procedure, to participate as fully as possible in the life of the local community. Criteria such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth or sexual orientation will not be taken into account. Recruitment and promotion of the project will take place in a way that ensures accessibility for persons with disabilities, families experiencing care and educational difficulties, by formulating a message in accordance with the principles of accessibility and simple language, developing information and recruitment documents in an accessible format, providing support for day-care staff during the recruitment interview, planning various forms and channels of communication, involving the environment of children and young people requiring support. The project will respect at every stage the principle of equality between women and men (both in the delivery of services to the recipients and in the management of the project). The principle of equal social value, equal rights and obligations for women and men will be respected (e.g. substantive criteria such as education, experience, qualifications and not the gender of the candidate will be taken into account at the stage of recruitment of persons involved in the provision of services; at the stage of recruitment of project participants, formal eligibility criteria will be taken into account, followed by preferential criteria, in accordance with the project rules, and not the sex of the potential participant).
