The main objective of the project is to support the social inclusion of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, including the most deprived and children, through the development of family support services and a foster care system , for which adequate nutrition and barrier-free workshop rooms will be adapted. In order to prepare the project, a participatory diagnosis of social problems occurring in the district was carried out. The research showed the most important needs, which are related to, among others, proper functioning in the society and family of the project participants. Foster families, PCPR staff signal the need for help and support: help and support in dealing with difficult emotions, access to crisis intervention specialists; deepening knowledge and skills related to childcare, supervision, reducing risky behaviour disorders, constructive methods of conflict resolution, obtaining qualifications to provide training for candidates, the need to compensate for educational deficiencies in children in foster care, the need to carry out training for candidates for foster families, activities improving competences and qualifications – educational and professional activation of independent persons, counselling and individual support.The implementation of the project will therefore respond to diagnosed problems occurring in the foster care of the Opoczno district as well as in the local community and at the same time will be in line with the specific objective of FELD.07.12 Family services. Project type: ‘Development of family support services and foster care system’ and ‘Establishment of crisis intervention centres or points and development of services to combat violence including domestic violence’. As part of the planned project, the following activities will be undertaken: specialist counselling, classes raising general competencies and equalizing educational opportunities, outgoing workshops for foster families with children and for dependent/adult foster care pupils, improving competences and qualifications, creating a crisis intervention center. The project is in line with the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. In doing so, we fulfil the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, i.e. enabling all persons, regardless of sex, race, colour, age, disability, ethnic origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, to participate fairly and fully in all areas of life on an equal basis. The rented rooms will be adapted to the needs of disabled people, driveways. Recruitment meetings will be organized in places accessible to people with disabilities, published promotional and information materials will be available in various formats. All support will be provided in places adapted for people with disabilities: adapting the duration of support to the capacity of persons with disabilities, digital accessibility, tailor-made flexible support time. The project will have a positive impact on the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including accessibility for persons with disabilities, providing support without any discrimination on the grounds set out in Article 9 of the General Regulation, including ensuring accessibility to the support offered in the project for all its participants and ensuring the availability of all project products (including services), in accordance with the accessibility standards annexed to the Guidelines for the implementation of equality principles under the EU funds 2021-2027.
