The project shall contribute to mitigating the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of the transition area towards the Union’s 2030 targets for energy and climate and towards a climate-neutral economy of the Union by 2050 based on the Paris Agreement. The aim of the project is to provide development services to 2,330 adults in the area of LV transformation (who want to improve their qualifications or competences or retrain on their own initiative, including support for people from the most difficult target groups – via BUR). The target groups diagnosed (detailed under ‘target groups’) of the project are adults, including those from the most difficult target groups, i.e. workers employed in sectors related to the transition process: mining, energy and mining-related activities; women; the unemployed, including the long-term unemployed; economically inactive people; persons aged 18-29; persons aged 55 and over; persons with at most lower secondary education (ISCED 0-2, 4, 5-8); persons with disabilities. The results that will be achieved through the implementation of the project will be an increased number of jobseekers; persons who have taken up education or training; persons who have obtained qualifications; persons employed; persons who have obtained green qualifications; persons who have obtained a digital qualification.
