The subject of the project is the expansion of the research and development infrastructure of 3PSoft sp. z o.o. through the creation of a Research and Development Centre, which will enable research on modern technologies for digital processing and distribution of audiovisual signals. As part of the project, specialist research equipment will be purchased, allowing the development of innovative solutions in the field of low latency CDN networks, video transmission in 5G networks, analysis of audiovisual content using artificial intelligence and AdTech technology for dynamic personalization of advertising content. The research will be carried out in new areas for the Applicant, which have been classified under the FORD classification (Frascati Handbook 2015) as 2. Engineering and technical sciences – 2.2. The new infrastructure will enable research on methods of effective data transmission for the telecommunications industry, television broadcasters and streaming platforms, which will improve the quality of video transmission and optimize the processes of distribution of multimedia content. The Centre will conduct research on the use of Computer Edge AI in the analysis of audiovisual signals, which will be used, among others, in industrial monitoring, digital security and automation of audiovisual content processing. The aim of the project is to increase the research and development potential of 3PSoft, which will enable the implementation of innovative products and services in the field of multimedia and telecommunications. The new infrastructure will allow the expansion of activities with research services for external entities, which will translate into diversification of revenues and strengthening of market position. In addition, the implementation of energy-efficient transmission technologies will reduce energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint, in line with the sustainable development policy. The project includes a one-stage investment consisting in the purchase, installation and commissioning of research and development infrastructure enabling research in the area of processing and transmission of audiovisual signals. As part of the project, R&D infrastructure will be purchased to carry out research on 5G, IoT and CDN networks, AI algorithms for the analysis of multimedia content and methods for optimizing digital content distribution systems. The implementation of the project will enable 3PSoft to conduct world-class research, accelerate the commercialization of innovative technologies and develop new business models. The implementation of the new infrastructure will allow the company to increase its competitiveness on the international market, develop cooperation with scientific institutions and industry entities in the area of R&D. The project is in line with the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Lubelskie Voivodeship until 2030 and fits into the smart specialisations of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, in particular in the areas of ‘Digital Society’ (443 – innovative products and technologies used in sport, entertainment, advertising and multimedia) and ‘Healthy Society’ (331 – telecare and telemedicine). Its implementation will contribute to the growth of innovation in the region and the development of modern digital technologies.
