The need to implement the Project in question has arisen in recent years and results from the approaching end of the lifetime of the main deep well ST.1, on the municipal groundwater abstraction in the village of Wólka Zawieprzycka .So far, the investment has not been implemented due to a lack of financial resources. The need to implement the Project results from the needs and problems of stakeholders: The residents of the commune need uninterrupted supply of drinking water as well as people for whom the current state of drinking water quality is burdensome. 2.Problems of the conservator operating the SUW, in which equipment failures occur, which generates high costs and environmental risks. 3.Responsibilities of local authorities appointed to ensure the supply of good quality drinking water and to create conditions for the development of the Municipality. The target group of the Project are the above-mentioned main stakeholders, and indirectly also the subject stakeholders, which are presented in the table below. The main objective of the Project is: "Increasing safety in the area of drinking water supply in the Commune of Serniki through the reconstruction of the deep well and the Water Treatment Station. The key outputs and results of the project are: 1. Number of reconstructed / modernized water intakes - 1 pc. 2. Number of reconstructed water treatment stations - 1 pc. 3. Population connected to improved collective water supply systems - 1009 people. 4. Water losses in collective water supply systems - baseline: 324,48 m3/year; target 121.68 m3/year. The tasks to be carried out include the reconstruction of the water intake and the Water Treatment Station, which includes: 1. Reconstruction (reconstruction) of the deep well - dismantling of the well housing and the well head, then removing the deep pump. Measurement of the depth of the well hole and the depth to the groundwater table. Performing well hole drilling in the interval of 32.0 - 80.0 m. p.p.t. Performing inspections and cleaning of the existing well housing; 2. Installation of new water treatment equipment: installation of pump unit, well head, shut-off valve, water meter, check valve. 3. Renovation of the facility of the Water Treatment Station: replacement of the roof, window and door joinery, insulation of partitions, installation of the necessary white fittings. 4. Reconstruction of the technological installation of the Water Treatment Station; 5. Installation of a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 10.8 kW consisting of 24 panels with a capacity of 450 Wp - ineligible cost. 6. Development of project documentation: Technical design: specialty design, electrics; Design of geological works; c) investor cost estimates; 7. Exercising investor supervision. 8. Promotion of the project - placing two information and memorial boards at the place of implementation of the project and at the premises of the Serniki Commune Office. 9. Project management - external services and allowances for project staff. As part of the information and promotion activities, the Applicant planned: a) placing an information and memorial board at the project site and the Applicant's headquarters (the Municipal Office); b) an announcement in the local press about the implementation of the project; c) placing information on the implementation of the project on the Applicant's website; d) indication of the purchased equipment that it was financed under the European Funds for the Lublin region (in accordance with the principle of marking and promotion); e) In order to facilitate contact with people interested in the implementation of the project, the applicant will appoint one person in the organizational unit, who will provide all the necessary information on the implementation of the project. Information about the project will be provided by posting information on the Municipality's website, on the bulletin board, orally during organizational meetings with residents; f) All required documents will be marked in the project in accordance with the rules, including, for example: in terms of tender documentation, announcements, reports of promotional materials.
