The subject of the investment is the extension of the provincial road No 812 from km 61+535.00 to km 70+756.50 located in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, in the Włodawa district, in the Wyryki and Włodawa municipalities. As part of the task, it is planned to adapt the provincial road to the requirements of the GP class road (main accelerated traffic), increase the load carrying capacity of the road to 11.5 tonnes / axle, extend the roadway to 7.0 m, build communication routes for cyclists and pedestrians, as well as adjust the width of the roadside and perform elements of surface drainage of the road body. The purpose of the extension of DW 812 is also to improve safety for all traffic participants and to increase the comfort of traveling along the discussed communication route. The scope of the investment includes in particular: - rozbudowę drogi poprzez poszerzenie, wzmocnienie / wymianę istniejącej konstrukcji nawierzchni drogi i przystosowanie jej do przenoszenia obciążeń 115 kN/oś (klasa drogi GP, długość 9,236 km), - rozbudowę / przebudowę skrzyżowań (3 szt. skanalizowane) z innymi drogami publicznymi i przystosowanie ich do przenoszenia obciążeń 115 kN/oś, - korektę trasy i niwelety drogi, w szczególności w zakresie istniejących nienormatywnych łuków poziomych i pionowych, - budowę rowów przydrożnych i systemu odwodnienia powierzchniowego, - budowę grawitacyjnej kanalizacji deszczowej (1208,5 m) wraz ze studniami, przykanalikami, studzienkami osadnikowymi z wpustami ulicznymi i wylotami do rowu, - rozbiórkę (7szt.) i budowę przepustów (6 szt.), - budowę, przebudowę lub rozbudowę chodników (1,33 km), - budowę ścieżki pieszo-rowerowej (dł. 8,49 km) / bicycle path (0,41 km), - construction of bus bays (4 pcs.), - construction of 1 bay for vehicle inspection (for the Police), - construction of a technological channel, - demolition of existing and construction of new road lighting, - construction/extension/reconstruction of individual and public exits (79 pcs.), - felling of trees and shrubs colliding with the investment in question and development of greenery within the road belt, performance of compensation plantings, - reconstruction and protection in the necessary scope of technical infrastructure related and not related to the road, colliding with the investment, - abolition of architectural barriers within the expanded section of the road to ensure accessibility for all users, in particular for the disabled, - necessary preparatory works in the field of demolition of existing road surfaces from concrete slabs, as well as demolition of fences, foundations, pavements, culverts, etc., - execution of vertical, horizontal markings and road safety devices, - demolition of a residential building located on plot No. 472 (area 015 Żuków) km approx. 63+830 (p. The investment in the extension of provincial road No 812 is part of type 1 projects eligible under Measure 6.1 of the FELU, as it provides a key connection to the TEN-T network (E30 - S12 and E373 - A2), border crossings in Dorohusk and Terespol, investment areas and developing intermodal infrastructure, including the intermodal terminal in Chełm. DW 812 is an important transport route of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, connecting Biała Podlaska, Włodawa, Chełm and other centres with national roads Nos 2, 12, 63 and 82, which provide links with the European Union transport corridors. The implementation of the Project, by increasing the load capacity of the road to 115 kN/axle, will enable the handling of heavy traffic and intermodal transport, as well as improve the technical condition, capacity and safety of the entire section of DW 812. The investment shall be strategic, support the development of sustainable transport, increase transport accessibility, territorial cohesion and interregional and cross-border links.
