The main goal of the project is to equalize opportunities for children with particular emphasis on rural areas through greater access to pre-school education in the Serniki Commune, guaranteeing high quality of education. Improving equal access to inclusive quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through the development of accessible infrastructure will be achieved through the purchase of equipment (e.g. furniture, teaching aids, including teaching aids for people with disabilities) for the pre-school branch of the Jan Kochanowski Primary School in Nowa Wola. Measures will be taken to ensure high-quality education for children attending the facility. The number of children aged 3 to 6 in the commune in 2021 is 218, which means that 50% of children are covered by pre-school education in the commune. A significant proportion of children (44) attend kindergartens in other municipalities (especially in the City of Lubartów). The implementation of the project in this area will fully contribute to the achievement of the objective of Measure 7.1 and will be the final element ensuring the full functionality of the pre-school infrastructure. It is the responsibility of the Municipality to provide preschool care for all willing children. Through the implementation of the project, the municipality wants to increase the number of available places in the kindergarten by at least 15%, i.e. up to 29 places. Implementation of the deliveries covered by the project will guarantee a high quality of education for children. The educational aids planned to be purchased will also take into account the needs of children with disabilities.
