The aim of the project is to increase the potential of WOMP CP-L in Lublin in the area of primary health care and increase the availability of these services. As part of the project, medical equipment will be purchased for the needs of POZ WOMP CP-L in Lublin, as well as equipment with a hearing support system (which significantly improves speech intelligibility for hearing impaired patients), employing a person to support patients with special needs and training POZ clinic staff in patient safety, organized by the Patient Rights Ombudsman as part of the FERS program. This project is part of the implementation of measure 7.8 Health infrastructure (type 2: Development of POZ/AOS through construction, reconstruction and modernization of health infrastructure facilities and/or their equipment, including medical equipment, in order to improve access to services, including primarily in less economically developed areas and rural areas). Ensuring high quality and access to medical services requires activities in the field of continuous supplementation and improvement of the facility's base and infrastructure, both in terms of quantity and quality, as well as strengthening the equipment base. The project will increase access to high-quality primary health care services for the region’s publicly funded residents. It is a pro-quality activity aimed at adapting medical entities to the dynamic development of medical sciences, including new solutions and diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities, as well as changing epidemiological and sanitary conditions (especially in the face of mitigating the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic). The implementation of the project includes: preparation of a feasibility study, purchase of medical equipment, purchase of an induction loop, employment of a person supporting patients with special needs, project promotion and project management. For the needs of hearing-impaired and wheelchair-bound patients or low-aged people, wireless audio amplifying intercoms will also be installed at POZ registration stations to enable and facilitate communication between the patient and the registration staff. 3 tablets with software that converts speech into real-time text will also be purchased for registration desks and POZ offices.
