Senior Policy ESF+

Main objective of the project:improving access to social and health services for 6 986 (K 4 332/M 2 654) seniors aged 65 and over, in particular for disadvantaged people and their carers from 36 municipalities from the Lublin region. Specific objective of the project:increasing equal and timely access to quality, sustainable and affordable services, including services that support access to person-centred care, including healthcare; modernisation of social protection systems, including support for access to social protection, especially for people aged 65 and over who are disadvantaged;improving accessibility, including for NSAs, effectiveness and resilience of health systems and long-term care services in the period 01.09.2023-31.12.2025. The main objective of the project will be achieved through the implementation of the following activities: 1. Social services provided in the local community by creating conditions and services for the care of people in need of support. 2. Support for actual (informal) caregivers of people in need of support in everyday functioning, among others through counselling: psych, gerontological (78 people), respite care (86 people). 3. Training of direct staff providing services to seniors (360 people). 4. Legal aid for people aged 65 and over. 5. Advising on accessibility. 6. Rehabilitation equipment rental. 7. Purchase of safety bands with a summoning system and safety packages for seniors. The tasks planned in the project will ensure an increase in the availability of social and health services for 6 986 (K 4 332/M 2 654) seniors 65 years and older, support the process of deinstitutionalization (DI), including the development of community services. Implementation of services provided in communes located in 36 communes of the voivodeship of Lublin, i.e.: Municipality of Wisznice, Dzwola, Modliborzyce, Łopiennik Górny, Offices, Jastków, Wojciechów, Wólka, Stoczek Łukowski, Wojcieszków, Lubycza Królewska, Krynice, Komarów Settlement,Rachanie, Leśniowice, Niedrzwica Duża, Sitno,Trzydnik Wielki, Wilkołaz, Gościradów, Potok Wielki, Szastarka, Tarnawatka,Telatyn, Ryki, Żmudź, Wąwolca, Kurów, Krasnobród, Lublin, Municipality of Hrubieszów, Municipality of Świdnik, City of Chełm, City of Krasnystaw, City of Łuków, City of Tomaszów Lubelski. The nature of the activities undertaken in the project will take into account the adaptation to the needs and capabilities of the recipients of support, enabling them to control their lives and decisions. The support offered in the project will ensure that recipients using the services offered will not be isolated from the general community and will be able to function efficiently on Wednesday. Lok.
