The aim of the project is to increase the chances of finding employment, including self-employment of 600 persons unemployed, with a particular focus on people in a special situation on the labour market, people leaving agriculture and people granted temporary protection in connection with the war in Ukraine; as well as persons with disabilities and persons belonging to the NEET category in the district of Chełm and the City of Chełm in the period from 01.01.2024 to 30.06.2025 by directing them to an internship, training, to work at an equipped / retrofitted workplace, granting a settlement voucher and granting one-off funds for starting a business activity. By pursuing the main objective, the project will contribute to the achievement of specific objective 4a of Measure 9.1. European Funds for Lublin Programme 2021-2027. In order to adapt the support to the needs of all participants, an Individual Action Plan will be prepared. In addition, job placement or career guidance will be mandatory for all project participants, which will increase the effectiveness of the activities planned in the project and ensure the provision of individual and comprehensive assistance. Depending on the needs, project participants will be covered by the following forms of support: traineeships, training, settlement vouchers, equipment/retrofitting of workstations, one-off funds for starting a business. The project will result in at least 30% of project participants taking up employment or self-employment (i.e. at least 180KiM). The project will support 600 persons (360K;240M) registered in the PLO in Chełm as unemployed, with particular emphasis on people in a special situation on the labour market, people leaving agriculture and people granted temporary protection in connection with the war in Ukraine; persons with disabilities and persons belonging to the NEET category. In order to reach potential participants, information and promotion activities will be carried out in the form of: information posters on the premises of the PLO, information on the website and on the social media of the PLO, information provided to social assistance and integration institutions in order to ensure the possibility of benefiting from the support of people who have ended their participation in Priority VII of the FEL 2021-2027 Programme. The project is in line with the provisions of the Action Charter 9.1, Priority IX of the CSP of the FEL 2021-2027 programme. Support for young people will be in line with the assumptions of the Youth Guarantee Implementation Plan in Poland, and at least 23% of the financial resources planned in the project will be allocated to support young people (18-29l).
