Effective in action! Edition 2

The main objective of the project by 31.05.2025 is to achieve gender-balanced participation in the labour market and increase employment opportunities for 96[82K/14M] people (from 18 years of age), unemployed (especially women, including the unemployed and inactive), residing in the voivodeship of Lublin [WL], including at least 48[41K/7M] long-term unemployed [DBB] and at least 10[8K/2M] people with disabilities [ON]. The main objective is in line with the objective of Action 9.4 and will directly contribute to the achievement of the specific objective. 4c ESF+ "Supporting gender-balanced participation in the labour market, equal working conditions (...)" by implementing tailor-made support to the needs of recipients and the regional labour market, which will allow the EP to solve problems hindering or preventing entry into employment, acquire/adapt existing competences/qualifications to the needs of employers, obtain professional assistance in the project. It will contribute to ensuring equal access to employment for women and men (a higher share of K in the project was assumed in connection with their more difficult situation on the labour market). Project stages and ways of their implementation: TYPE 1: 1.Identify UP needs and develop/update IPD for each of them 2.Individual career guidance for all UPs and individual psychological guidance (for UPs demonstrating such need) 3.Professional training 4.Traineeships 5.Job placement TYPE 2 (Accompanying activity Tasks 1-5): Support in the care of a child or a family member in need of support in everyday functioning The project will be preceded by an inf.-promotional action (within the framework of the intermediate bodies), emphasizing the benefits of the above-mentioned participation in the project. (according to the principle of equal opportunities K and M and equal opportunities and non-discrimination) – see, in particular, Recruitment description. In the event of receiving co-financing, the Beneficiary will fulfil the inf. and promotional obligations (including the inf.society for co-financing.proj.by the EU) in accordance with the General Regulation. The project assumptions, including the target group [GD] and the scope of support, were planned on the basis of available, verifiable data on the area of support (critical analysis of secondary sources), as well as on the basis of data on the implementation of the project. Partners (executing numerous projects to activate the profession). The labour market in WL has for years been characterised by a high level of unemployment (the third highest unemployment rate in the country, at 03’23:8.2%, Poland:5.4%)[1]. In addition, the situation in recent years has been complicated by the coronavirus pandemic and the influx of war refugees from Ukraine (which has caused, among others, greater competition on the labour market or a change in the structure of jobseekers (predominance of women)). Finding a job among both unemployed [BB] and inactive [BZ] is hampered by a lack of skills/qualifications and a lack or low level of professional qualifications not adapted to the needs of the labour market. The above-mentioned often causes long-term unemployment (58.2% of the total BB is DBB [2,3]), while the prolonged state of inability to find employment creates frustration and implies financial problems, which result in a decrease in the standard of living, self-esteem and social position. In WL, the problem of long-term unemployment is a priority, as the region has been ranked first in the country for years in terms of the percentage of DBB [5]. Women are in a worse position, experiencing manifestations of discrimination, the negative impact of gender stereotypes and struggling with the unequal distribution of family responsibilities (the professional activity of K in WL is 51.1% compared to 65.8% in M)[4]. It will determine the need, in particular, to support this group in order to facilitate its sustainable access to the labour market. The above confirms that the project's objective is to: (translated directly into the task) results from diagnosed GD problems that Partners want to alleviate / minimize.
