Development of kindergarten branches in the Commune of Strzyżewice

The subject of the project is the support of five PLOs: in Kiełczewice Górne, Osmolicy Pierwsze, Żabiej Wola, Strzyżewice-Recht and Bystrzyca Stara, in the Strzyżewice Commune (GS), i.e. in a commune with a lower degree of pre-school education than the average provincial or provincial level, and support for 131 children (including 3 disabled people (ON) of pre-school age and their carers (including those with migration experience) and 12 PLO teachers supported by GS: The project will include: • creation of 39 new pre-primary education places in the above-mentioned city. PLO, • implementation of PLO development programmes, including additional didactic-educational and specialist activities, as well as professional development of PLO staff • modernization of the existing premises and didactic base in the field of inclusive pre-school education, including necessary renovation and adaptation works, purchase of furniture, equipment and didactic and educational aids. Support for each PLO will be implemented on the basis of individually diagnosed needs of the PLO, children, their parents and teachers. The support offered in the project will translate into a comprehensive, sustainable improvement of the quality of services provided and preparation of the PLO to conduct inclusive education. INFORMATION-PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES (strategy forms) will be adapted to the specificities of the target group: a. direct information at recruitment meetings and school meetings b. traditional marketing (posters, leaflets - in schools and places of daily activity of parents/guardians) c. online marketing (www schools/OWP, Municipal Office; social media) d. participation in local events on education The recruitment process will be planned in such a way that it does not restrict access to anyone, regardless of gender or degree of disability. At the recruitment stage, the principle of equal opportunities will be ensured, i.e. appropriate participation of boys and girls and teachers in the project (resulting from the gender/professional structure), for the SA - support allowing their participation in the project on an equal basis with other people. The diagnosis shows that the number of pre-school education places in GS is insufficient, and the quality of PLO services in GS is low due to the under-equipment of local institutions, as well as the deteriorating technical condition of the premises base. Many families in the commune are in a bad financial situation, and some parents are not aware of the importance of children's participation in preschool education. Teachers are convinced that early identification of developmental disorders in children and implementation of solutions for inclusive education and working with children with SPE play an increasingly important role. The project responds to the above-mentioned problem and implements the MAIN OBJECTIVE: Supporting equal access to quality and inclusive pre-primary education for 131 children (62 K, 69 M), including 3 ON, and 12 teachers (12 K) to vocational education by creating 39 new pre-primary education places, carrying out additional classes for 131 children, providing training for teachers and modernising the premises and teaching base in the 5th PLO from the Strzyżewice Commune to 31.08.2026. The headline target is directly linked to the Progr.European Funds for Lublin 2021-27, as it pursues Policy Specific Objective 4 ‘A more social Europe (...); Specific objective 4f Promoting equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to higher education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for SAs.
