Abbreviations used in the application: Design-Project; UP-Participant Project; WL-Woj.lubelskie; K/M-Women/Men; OzN-Person(s) with disabilities. The project responds to the needs and problems of the target group, identified in the area of its implementation. To that end, in 2023 and within the period 02-03.2024, the Applicant conducted a dedicated 3-stage own study. As part of the first stage of the study, the existing data were analyzed using the so-called. "desk research". The MRPiPS study found that the direct indicator of social activity of young people is activity - as a member or volunteer - for an organization acting for the public good, such as an association or foundation, etc. According to the GUS survey measuring the level of unpaid work of Poles outside the household, 9.5% of people aged 15 to 24 were involved in this type of activities. This means that socially inactive youth (including socio-economically disadvantaged youth) make up more than 90% of the population. Factors influencing the situation of young people are their relatively low level of competences, consisting in combining knowledge, skills and attitudes appropriate to the situation and the misalignment of existing competences with the requirements of adult life. The second stage of the study was qualitative analysis. The applicant conducted a number of interviews with people representing schools from WL. Based on these discussions, it was found that there is a very large group of people in local communities of WL, in particular people at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion, who have a low level of social competence. As one of the interlocutors (director of the Lublin LO) says: At the moment, young people are very withdrawn and socially isolated. The pandemic and remote learning had a huge impact on this. In my school, more than 1/3 of students have an opinion from a psychologist, this is a lot. Such social isolation should be tackled as soon as possible, including by improving students' soft, social skills related to communication, teamwork, interacting with peers or motivating them to actively act for the benefit of the local community. After diagnosing the existence of the above-mentioned problem and the above-mentioned needs of the target group, the Applicant carried out the third stage of the study, i.e. quantitative analysis using the interview method (survey questionnaire). The research sample included 26 people who met the eligibility criteria for the target group (they were potential participants in FELU activities 10.03, including 16 women, 3 OzN). The interest in taking part in the project with training in social competences was demonstrated by all respondents to the survey. When asked "What are your project needs?", the most common answers were: interesting way of conducting classes (76.9%), training at school or near home (100%), providing training materials (73%) and meals (92.3%) during training. The question "What are the barriers to project access?" was most often answered by: training far from home (96.1%), lack of time (57.6%), fear of unfair assessment by peer group (38.4%), architectural barriers for OzN (100% OzN) and disadvantage of women in access to education (62.5% women). On the basis of the results of the above-mentioned diagnosis, the Applicant prepared the assumptions of this project, which are a direct response to the diagnosed problem (low level of social competence) and the needs of people with gr.doc. The main goal of the project is to acquire collective competence by at least 90% of 84 UP (60K,24M) (according to the description of gr.doc.), through the implementation of 48-hour trainings in the field of social competences by 31.12.2025, thanks to which the skills and interests of 84 students (60K,24M) will develop beyond formal education. As a result of the implementation of project no.76 UP(54K,22M) will acquire the competences of the public, thanks to which the goal of detail.FELU.10.03 will be achieved: Promoting equal access to quality, inclusive education and training (...).
