The changing world forces the need to adapt the offer of educational institutions to the new challenges of everyday life. Technological developments (artificial intelligence, virtual reality, new communication platforms) and changes in the social structure imply the need to implement innovative, comprehensive development programmes, especially in schools providing general education. The main goal of the project is to increase the quality of education provided by 5 primary schools of the Strzyżewice Commune and to improve skills and competences in at least 95% of the group of 659 students (347 dz. + 312) and 106 teachers (80 K and 26 M) in the period up to 28.02.2026 through the implementation of development programmes contributing to increasing access to quality education, inclusive education, facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The activities planned in the project will directly contribute to the achievement of: a) Policy Objective 4. A more social, inclusive and implementing Europe’s Pillar of Social Rights; (b)Specific objective 4f) Promoting equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. Achieving the main objective of the project will be possible thanks to the implementation of the activities planned in the project resulting directly from the diagnosis of needs. Based on the needs identified, the following activities are planned in the project: I. Dissemination of the accessible school model by adapting schools and teaching to the special educational needs of pupils and to the needs of teachers with disabilities. II. Execution of an additional offer of extracurricular activities developing socio-emotional competences, basic, transversal and professional skills necessary on the labour market, including digital competences, green and developing students' talents and interests. III. Improving the quality of education and developing students' skills by purchasing additional equipment for the 5 schools covered by the project, necessary to conduct the planned additional classes. These aids will be both during the implementation of the project and after its completion during the durability period. The purchased equipment will allow students with disabilities to participate in the classes on an equal basis with other people. IV. Organisation of psychological and pedagogical assistance for pupils and support for parents/legal guardians of children in stimulating the development of pupil V. Establishment of 5 School Career Centres - educational and professional counselling VI. Professional development of teachers employed in supported schools, including working with pupils with special needs. According to Special Criterion No 5: The project assumes the start of the implementation of support for students at the latest from the second semester of the school year 2023 / 2024 in the scope; a) organisation and implementation of an additional didactic offer (project type 1b), b) educational and professional advice (project type 1e). The project is addressed only to 5 primary schools located in the rural area of the Commune of Strzyżewice (Category 3 DEGURBA) (crit. prem. 1). The subject of extracurricular activities and teacher training planned as part of the project assumes the development of ompetence in the field of green transition and digital competences of students and teachers (crit. prem. 2). The project plans to improve the profession of teachers in the field of working with students with special educational needs (cf. prem. 3). Implementation period: 01.01.2024-28.02.2026
