The subject of the project is the implementation of a development program in 5 vocational schools (ZS) of the Lublin poviat, taking into account, among others: development of pupils’ (U) skills through support for the teaching capacity of schools , cooperation of schools and vocational and continuing training centres with employers and universities, additional specialised activities enabling pupils to acquire and supplement their knowledge and professional skills, support for teachers (N) (including vocational teachers) and practical apprenticeship instructors in obtaining qualifications/qualifications. The scope of support includes: educational and professional advice for students in the form of individual and group classes and professional studies, specialist and qualification courses for students, training and courses for teachers (N), professional internships for students and support for the didactic potential of schools. As part of the U and N project, they will take part in training on green competences and working with a student with special educational needs. The support will be based on the individually diagnosed needs of schools. The diagnosis was carried out between January and March 2024. The main problems are: poor quality of education, lack of funding opportunities for specialised courses and training, and lack of good quality equipment for students to acquire the skills needed for the professions being educated, and lack of emotional and psychological support. The lack of cooperation with universities in the field of learning professions and practical activities is also a problem. Students want to be educated in a modern way, using good quality equipment and modern technologies. The labour market expects from them good preparation and knowledge of the profession, but also specialist qualifications, e.g. IT. Schools also expect to improve their teaching capacity, which will ensure that students acquire high-quality skills and are well prepared to enter the labour market. The low level of vocational training of teachers, who could develop the teaching potential of schools, is also a problem. The diagnosis has been approved by the lead authority. The main objective of the project is to increase access to and completion of quality education and training among 500 vocational school pupils (220K/280M), in particular disadvantaged pupils and 42 teachers by implementing development programmes and increasing the quality of education in 5 vocational schools in the Lublin district by 30.06.2027 (proj.1a-n type). The planned activities are in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of Trans-local Bystrica, the Strategy for the Development of Trans-local LOM and ZSU 2030 (KRYT.SPEC.PREM.NR.6). The aim of the project is in line with the objectives of the ESF+ European Funds policy: Objective 4. A more social, inclusive and implementing Europe's Pillar of Social Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals. 4f - Promoting equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. Materials will be logged in, places for classes and other project activities will be marked in accordance with the guidelines.
