Providing access to pre-school education for children aged 3-5 in the Commune of Strzyżewice

THE SUBJECT OF THE PROJ. is to support the Local Government Public Kindergarten in Piotrowice (PS) in the Commune of Strzyżewice (GS), i.e. in a commune with a lower degree of pre-school education than the average of the Lubelskie Province, and to support 70 children (including 2 disabled people (ON) of pre-school age and their carers and 11 PLO teachers/teachers (N) supported by the GS: The project will include the implementation of PLO development programs and modernization of the existing didactic base in the field of inclusive pre-school education. The aim of the project will be to improve access to good quality pre-school education in PS, for children aged 3-5 from the Strzyżewice Commune and for children living in other neighbouring municipalities, e.g.: Bychawa, Jabłonna, Zakrzówek, Niedrzwica Duża, Głusk, Konopnica, Lublin by purchasing the necessary teaching aids, equipment and equipment, also in the field of ICT for the purpose of improving the quality of pre-school education, as well as improving the quality of pre-school education provided in the PLO by extending the offer to include additional didactic, educational and specialist activities, psychological and pedagogical assistance for children, parents/guardians and teachers, and improving the competences of teachers employed in it by participating in trainings. The implementation of the project, which will be dedicated to children aged 3-5 from the Municipality as well as to children from neighboring LOM communes, will have an integrated action to compensate for territorial disparities in pre-school education. The project will improve the accessibility of children to pre-school places, thus providing childcare and creating conditions for proper development and upbringing, which will allow parents to return to professional activity. INFORMATION-PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES (strategy forms) will be adapted to the specifics of the target group and will be carried out in the GS and neighbouring municipalities (including recruitment meetings, traditional marketing, online marketing, participation in local events related to education). The above actions are a response to the diagnosed problems, and above all the non-SUPPLEMENTARY LEVEL OF PRE-SECURITY EDUCATION in the Strzyżewice Commune. According to data from 2020, the percentage of children aged 3-5 years covered by pre-school education in GS is 58.4% and is significantly lower compared to the ratio for the Lubelskie voivodship - 84.8% and for the Lubelskie district - 83.4%. The diagnosis shows that the number of pre-school education places in GS is sufficient, but the quality of PLO services in GS is low due to the under-equipment of PS and the unattractive offer of additional classes. Many families in the municipality are in a bad financial situation. and are unable to pay for additional classes in kindergarten, in addition, some parents are not aware of the importance of children's participation in preschool education. The project responds to the above-mentioned problem and implements the MAIN OBJECTIVE: Supporting equal access to good quality inclusive pre-school education for 70 children (35 K, 35 M including 2 ON, and 11 teachers/-ek (10 K, 1M) through the implementation of additional classes for 70 children, the implementation of training for teachers and the modernization of the didactic base in the Local Government Kindergarten in Piotrowice in the Commune of Strzyżewice until 31.12.2027. The headline target is directly linked to the Progr.European Funds for Lublin 2021-27, as it pursues Policy Specific Objective 4 ‘A more social Europe (...); Specific objective 4f, as it ensures the promotion of equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care to adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for the SA.
