Implementation of development programs of CHOF schools of general education

The project aims to improve the accessibility of education and the quality of the education process in 10 schools of the Chelm Functional Area (CHOF) and to improve the skills and qualifications of 897 students (455DZ, 442CH) and 144 (127K, 17M) teachers. Its implementation results from the diagnosed common development problem of CHOF, which is an unsatisfactory level of teaching in primary and secondary schools. The subject of the project is the implementation of development programs in 10 schools of general education from the CHOF area: SP3 in Chełm, I LO in Chełm, SP in Żółtańce, SP in Stołpi, SP in Uhra, SP in Okszów, SP in Staw, SP in Strupin Duży, SP in Kamień, SP in Strachosław. The project includes comprehensive actions to improve the quality of education and adapt it to modern standards. As part of the project, activities are planned: 1. Adapting schools to the special educational needs of pupils and teachers: disseminating the model of the available school, purchasing equipment and teaching aids tailored to the needs of pupils from the SPE. 2. Supporting the teaching potential of schools: equipping with modern educational tools, creating multimedia spaces for learning, implementing innovative forms of teaching 3. Organization and implementation of an additional didactic offer: development of socio-emotional competences, basic, transversal and professional skills necessary for the labour market; developing digital and green competences and developing students’ talents and interests; support for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and talented pupils. 4. Organization of psychological and pedagogical assistance: implementation of rehabilitation and therapeutic classes, support for parents and teachers in stimulating student development, 5. Cooperation between secondary schools and universities: organization of academic activities for U, study visits to scientific centers and laboratories. 6. Support for secondary school pupils in gaining additional qualifications and qualifications: certified training, digital competence courses, career guidance programmes. 7. Professional development of teachers: training in modern teaching methods, ICT. 8. Improving the quality of the school management system. The project will be implemented through educational activities, training, workshops and investments in educational infrastructure. Implementation methods include: - activation methods: teamwork, educational projects, - workshops and trainings: interactive forms of improving competences of students and teachers, - experimental methods: learning through experience in laboratories and subject laboratories, - digital technologies - use of modern educational tools and e-learning resources. In order to ensure wide access to information about the project, promotional activities will be carried out, i.e. an information campaign on the websites of schools and local governments, distribution of promotional materials (posters, leaflets), reports on the implementation of the project in the social and local media. The implementation of the project will contribute to: - development of U key competences (mathematical-natural, digital, linguistic and social), - reduction of educational barriers for students with special educational needs, - increase the effectiveness of teaching through the implementation of modern teaching methods, - increase the competences of teachers and management staff, - improvement of educational conditions by equipping schools with modern technologies and teaching aids. The project responds to key educational needs in the region, adapting the teaching system to the requirements of the modern economy and society. By developing students' competences, supporting teachers and improving educational conditions, it will contribute to increasing the quality and accessibility of education in the Chelm Functional Area, in line with the objectives of the European Funds for Lublin 2021-2027, which aims to increase the quality of education and increase access to education for all students, including persons with disabilities.
