Bronowicka 3 in Lublin - the social dimension of revitalization

The aim of the project is to adapt the facility to new social functions and implement activities aimed at supporting people in crisis and requiring assistance through renovation and reconstruction of the building at ul. Bronowicka 3 in Lublin together with the purchase of equipment for the needs of the Crisis Intervention Centre. The current headquarters of CIKK (at ul. Rectory) has too few rooms, including specialists' offices and rooms for conducting group classes due to the growing interest in the services provided by the unit. The building is included in the Municipal Register of Monuments of the City of Lublin and located in the urban layout of the Industrial and Residential District Stare Bronowice included in the GEZ of the City of Lublin. The construction works will be carried out taking into account the historic character of the site in order to protect the material heritage and remind of the local history. The scope of construction works includes, in particular: - construction works of the above-mentioned building, including reconstruction of internal walls, replacement of floors, insulation of the non-utility attic, - construction of the above-mentioned elevator shaft, - finishing works of floors, walls, ceilings, - replacement of window and door joinery, - roof renovation, - insulation of all facades, - construction of slipways for people with reduced mobility, - reconstruction of internal installations, including water and sewage, c.o., ventilation of furniture, air conditioning, gas, - reconstruction of electrical and teletechnical installations, - construction of connection and installation of external rainwater sewage system, - works related to land development, including demolition works, hardening of the area (including construction of stands), greenery (including felling trees, replacement plantings), - purchase of equipment. In order to implement the project, the following were developed: construction project, purchase specification. equipment, feasibility studies. The beneficiary has a decision - a building permit, a decision on agreeing a construction project with a conservator, notification and information about the lack of grounds for objecting to the construction of a rainwater sewer connection. Contractors will be selected as a result of progress. tender. Scheduled tasks: (1) Eligible edition: construction works, purchase of equipment and project promotion and management; (2) Ineligible: execution of design documents, feasibility studies, construction works, equipment and author's supervision over the works. The project is located in the revitalization area designated in the Municipal Revitalization Program for Lublin for the years 2024-2033 in the subarea of the District of ul. It's Łęczyńska. The project is included in the list of basic projects under No. 6 entitled: ‘Support for social services and social inclusion, including infrastructure’ in the GPR. The project will result in filling public service deficits and thus strengthening local communities, in particular those in need of support. Socially, the region is characterised by a significant participation of people supported by social assistance, including due to poverty, special family needs: the need to protect motherhood, helplessness in care and education matters. The effect of the project will be to improve the state of public space in the Bronowice district by redeveloping the building at ul. Bronowicka 3. The transfer of the seat of the CIKK will allow for a more effective, more effective solution of the identified social problems, and thus will contribute to reducing their occurrence through psychological, therapeutic, legal and interventional assistance. In addition, the building is located in a place conducive to community integration due to the adjacent Bronowicki Park. District ul. Łęczyńska is characterized by a high number of crimes committed, which reduces the sense of security in public space. Awareness of the existence in the vicinity of an entity such as CIKK, which supports people in a difficult life situation, will strengthen the sense of security in residents.
