Electricity storage for single-family residential buildings and public buildings in Ciechanów.

When the sun stops shining, photovoltaic systems stop producing electricity. Energy storage is the answer to this problem. They make it possible to reconcile the peak of energy production with peaks of demand for electricity. One of the main advantages of energy storage is the ability to use it during power outages. Energy storage allows you to achieve energy independence and continuity of power supply. Currently, in a net-billing system, they are the most cost-effective way to increase self-consumption. Thanks to them, surplus energy sold at an unfavourable rate will be stored and can be used for own needs during the hours when energy prices are the most expensive. The aim of the project is to increase the self-consumption of electricity produced from RES in single-family residential buildings and public utility buildings in the Municipality of Ciechanów by 31.12.2025. The objective will be implemented through the following actions: 1. Purchase and installation of energy storage in public buildings in Ciechanów. As part of the project, the installation of energy storage facilities on 8 utility facilities is planned. (primary schools and kindergartens). In accordance with the PFU, documents for the tender will be prepared. PZP procedures will be used to select the most advantageous offer in terms of price and quality. Supervision of implementation will also be selected as part of the PPL procedure. 2. Purchase and installation of electricity storage in single-family residential buildings in the Municipality of Ciechanów. The project is planned to cover 162 residents/individuals according to completed application questionnaires. 3. The area of the project includes the area of the Ciechanów Municipality. As part of the whole project, support covers the purchase of brand new equipment offered for the European market as an electricity storage. As part of the project, existing photovoltaic installations extended by energy storage will be carried out in the manner provided for the cases indicated: Existing installations equipped with a hybrid inverter: The extension to energy storage will consist of the installation of a storage compatible with the existing hybrid inverter. (b) Existing installations equipped with an on-grid inverter (not capable of directly connecting and operating energy storage facilities) – without interfering with the existing PV installation. The existing inverter and photovoltaic installation remain unchanged. An additional inverter will be installed to perform integration functions between the power grid, the existing PV installation and the battery system. In all cases, the connection capacity of the facilities has been verified (the capacity of the generation source will not be greater than the connection capacity). The energy storage facilities will be equipped with an energy management system, whose task will be to: - monitoring and control of electricity consumption in the facility, - management of this energy, - management and optimization of the energy consumption profile, - maximizing self-consumption taking into account the optimization of the final electricity price. The total capacity of RES installations on which the project is planned is 1090.46 KW, including: 1. BUP – 256.02 KW 2. Individuals – 834.44 KW The total capacity of the planned energy storage facilities is: 1,606.80 KWh, of which: 1. BUP – 360,00 KWh 2. Individuals – 1.246.80 KWh The capacity of the energy storage facilities planned to be installed as part of the project has been adapted to the capacity of the RES equipment for which the individual storage facility will be installed. According to calculations for buildings used and public and for prosumers, the storage capacity will not exceed 1.5 times the installed capacity of RES, the energy of which will be supplied. It is declared that the capacity of energy storage facilities planned for co-financing does not exceed 1 MWh, in relation to storage facilities implemented within the RES installation, their capacity will not exceed the total capacity of all units included in this installation.
