The main objective of the project is to increase the number of people using the waste water treatment system in the Przysucha Agglomeration. The objective is in line with Priority II-European Funds for the green development of Mazovia, Journal of Laws No. 2.5 -Water and sewage management, Type of projects –Organisation of water and sewage management.The objective will be achieved through the implementation of:activities leading to the achievement of the results of treatment required by law,preparation of treatment plants for the adoption of the target amount of sewage after the expansion of the sewage network, reducing the sensitivity of the system to increased inflows of accidental water (during precipitation and melting),no need for: conducting a continuous process of sewage sludge treatment, construction of new cubature facilities; maximum use of existing facilities; educational and awareness-raising activities regarding the negative effects of wastewater treatment and discharge in places not intended for this purpose. Based on the headline target, milestones have been defined: reducing the amount of pollutants discharged into the environment and, as a result, improving the quality of water and thus protecting the ecosystem against the negative impact of wastewater discharged into it, ensuring adequate quality of drinking water in the agglomeration, in accordance with the KPŚK; improving sanitary conditions and reducing health risks for residents and raising their standard of living, as well as increasing the attractiveness of the commune area; a well-functioning system for the disposal of sanitary wastewater, and thus the regulation of wastewater management in the Agglomeration; increasing the attractiveness of the region for investors, by providing complete technical infrastructure in the area covered by the construction of sewage.The project will cover the following scope of works: extension of the existing waste water treatment plant in Przysucha to the target capacity of the average Qśr=1800m3/d, adapting its parameters to the needs of waste water treatment from the entire area of the Przysucha Commune and neighbouring towns. The implementation of the plant will increase the efficiency of the waste water treatment plant and ensure appropriate standards of treatment – in accordance with the condition III of Directive 91/271/EEC.The scope of work includes the modernisation of the raw waste water pumping station consisting in the replacement of pumps, the renovation of the drum sieve as an emergency. Biological part:Pond in the overhead part (reconstruction of existing facilities);Blower station (new);Pond in the cleaning part (reconstruction of existing facility);Removal and management of sewage sludge from all ponds of the treatment plant;Coagulant dosing station (renovation); Drainage structure; Execution of new technological connections;Adaptation of the communication system of the treatment plant.Others:Execution of the control system;Reconstruction of the power supply system;Lighting of the area, etc. The correctness of the construction works will be supervised by an investor supervision inspector with appropriate qualifications and professional experience. The project will carry out educational and awareness-raising activities. Promotion activities will be carried out - in accordance with the guidelines on information and promotion of European Funds for 2021-2027. The Contractors will be selected in accordance with the Public Procurement Act. The immediate target group will be the inhabitants of Przysucha, who use water for everyday use. The final recipients will be the public, which in the area of the Przysucha agglomeration, but also the entire municipality. Przysucha works, attends educational institutions, stays in medical facilities, visitors.The project is fully socially feasible, because it has the full social support of the inhabitants of Przysucha, expressed repeatedly during meetings with the municipal authorities. Gm. is.min.providing a wastewater collection system and conducting wastewater management. The municipality is therefore an entity predestined to carry out the project in question.
