European Funds for Mazovia 2021-2027, Priority III: European Funds for the Development of Urban Mobility in Mazovia, specific objective 2(viii) Supporting sustainable multimodal urban mobility as part of the transition towards a zero-emission economy, Action FEMA.03.01 Urban mobility, project type: Construction and reconstruction of public transport infrastructure. The project is a response to the problems and needs defined in strategic documents at the national, regional and supra-local level. MAIN PROBLEM: Non-adapted to changing socio-economic conditions public transport infrastructure conditioning the sustainable development of Płock and its functional area SPECIFIC PROBLEMS: (a)Unsuitable quality of public transport infrastructure, (b)Limited possibilities to combine different forms of public transport for urban travel (c)Reduced safety of users of urban mobility infrastructure. (d)Increasing emissions of pollutants into the environment caused by increasing traffic of individual vehicles Further development of the city requires continuous development and improvement of the quality of public transport services both in terms of rolling stock, connectivity and public transport infrastructure. Adapting the offer of public transport to the needs of increasingly demanding users determines the attractiveness of this form of communication and encourages the use of public transport. Public transport infrastructure is an essential part of this offer. Stop infrastructure providing shelter, the possibility of rest, especially for the elderly or people with disabilities, a sense of security and clear information with a timetable, becomes a standard in the public transport service. Secure and well-connected hubs are an additional asset in building a culture of sustainable mobility. Detailed description of SW.
