Extension of the building of the District School Complex in Myszyniec with rooms for the needs of the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic with headquarters in Myszyniec, ul. Children of Poland 5

The project includes the extension with equipment of the District School Complex in Myszyniec (ZSP) with rooms for the needs of the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic (PPP) together with technical infrastructure and land development. ZSP consists of the following types of schools: high school, technical school and first-degree industry school. Problematic phenomena occur in the area of education in the Ostrołęka district and specifically in the institution in Myszyniec: 1) The overall number of students will decrease, but the number of students with special educational needs (SPE) will increase. 2) The number of people reported for diagnosis increases: psychological, pedagogical, speech therapy, physiotherapeutic and sensory integration. 3) There are local problems (sharing of space between ZSP and PPP reduces the quality of didactic and psychological-pedagogical work. 4) A large deficit is the lack of large rooms for group classes, e.g. in the field of TUS, meetings with parents, group workshops, support groups for parents. 5) The school building is also not fully adapted to the needs of OzN. 6) Parents' awareness of their children's deficits and the need to seek help in psychological and pedagogical counseling and school is growing. The school is currently unable to meet the growing demand. 7) ZSP enjoys recognition among young people , offers good quality education, but requires adaptation to the needs of OzN and a greater offer of counselling services to meet the interest of students. The main objective of the project is the high quality of the educational offer of ZSP in Myszyniec. Specific objectives of the project: 1) Achievement of high-quality educational infrastructure of ZSP in Myszyniec by the end of 2026 2) Achievement of high-quality equipment of ZSP facilities in Myszyniec by the end of 2026 3) Adaptation of ZSP facilities in Myszyniec to the needs of people with SPE by the end of 2026 4) Meeting local needs for an inclusive educational offer by the end of 2027. The extension of the facility will allow to offer a higher level of educational services for students with SPE. As a result of the project, the facility will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, the possibility of improving the quality of psychological-pedagogical and didactic work with students from SPE. The offer of the psychological and pedagogical clinic will be directly related to students with special needs. The project will improve the quality of inclusive education services. In terms of the architect's area, the standard of preparation of the facility will increase in terms of accessibility for students from the SPE, while in terms of the technical area, the availability of individual rooms and their equipment will increase. Thanks to the project, students in need of support will have access to individual help, educational and exercise materials and equipment that takes into account their individual needs, which will allow better recognition of their needs, better matching the educational offer of the school with the needs of students, better understanding of their needs by the school community, which will increase social inclusion in education and improve the quality of teaching. The project is in line with the objectives and priorities of SR WM 2030+. According to the Strategy, priority actions in Mazovia in the area of education are primarily to increase the level and quality of teaching and equalize educational opportunities by creating and investing in educational institutions. The project is in line with FEM Priority V – European Funds for a Better Quality of Life in Mazovia and Specific Objective 4(ii) – Improving equal access to inclusive quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through the development of accessible infrastructure, including by supporting resilience in distance and online education and training. The project fits directly into the type of competition project: adaptation of public schools to the needs of people with SPE (excluding pre-primary education).
