The project will be fully implemented on the basis of the architectural accessibility standard (including the availability of infrastructure and equipment for school buildings, taking into account the perspective of existing and newly built buildings) developed as part of the Available School Model and results from the "Diagnosis of needs and deficits of the Primary School in Piekary, ul. Piekarska 47, 96-323 Osuchów and Józef Wiśniewski Primary School in Lutkówka, ul. Szkolna 1, 96-323 Osuchów’, as well as accessibility audits prepared for the schools covered by the project. The project assumes: 1) Ensuring the availability of recreational areas; 2) Ensuring the accessibility of the entrance to the building; 3) Ensuring access to the building; 4) Ensuring the availability of horizontal communication; 5) Ensure the availability of vertical communication; 6) Ensuring the availability of rooms; 7) Ensure the availability of evacuation. In addition, it is planned to apply climate change adaptation solutions by supplying and installing a ‘green class’ with equipment (for both schools covered by the project). It will be a space created outside the school building, where classes will be conducted during periods of appropriate temperature. The ‘green classroom’ will be equipped with green walls and will provide students with learning conditions outside the school walls. At the same time, the solutions used will not contradict the Available School Model and the accessibility standards contained therein. As part of the project, the following tasks are planned: 1. Ensuring the availability of the Primary School in Piekary for people with special educational needs 2. Ensuring the availability of the Primary School in Lutkówka for people with special educational needs. 3. Indirect costs (project management, information and promotion of the project). The selection of contractors will take place in a competitive manner, in accordance with the PZP. The main objective of the project is to improve the accessibility of the Primary School in Piekary and the Primary School in Lutkówka providing general education and to adapt them to the needs of students with special educational needs (SPE), which will enable them to participate in public education. The project will contribute to inclusive education. The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the objective CP4.F ESF+: Support equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The project is fully prepared for implementation. The applicant has permits/notifications for 100% of the material scope of the project.
