Academy for Skills Development

Project type: Support through development services (UR), including digital competences, under the PSF for adults who want to improve their skills/competences or acquire qualifications on their own initiative (including those included in the IRK); including support for people from the most difficult target groups - through BUR Target group: 320 adults (166K/154M), volunteering to improve their qualifications/competences or retraining, as well as formal confirmation of their skills acquired through non-formal education or informal learning, via the BUR from the Warsaw Capital Region (WSC) in the Mazowieckie Province (WM)- Warsaw Eastern Subregion (WSE)- i.e. they live within the meaning of the Civil Code Act in one of the districts of the WSE (i.e. the following districts: Legionowski, Minsk, Otwock, Wołomiński) An adult, i.e. over 18 years of age, cannot be a person running a business (including persons who have suspended business activity). Support in the project is primarily aimed at people from disadvantaged groups (i.e. people in vulnerable situations, including people experiencing or at risk of poverty, social exclusion or discrimination in many dimensions) and/or people aged 50+ - these groups will constitute 61% of the target group, i.e. 196 people - KP1 Main objective: Increase or change of competences or qualifications among 272 out of 320 (166K/154M) adults (over 18 years of age) from the area of the Warsaw Eastern subregion in the RWS, in the Mazowieckie voivodship, who voluntarily declare their willingness to improve their qualifications/competences or retraining, as well as formal confirmation of their skills acquired through non-formal education or informal learning, through the implementation of additional support and participation in development services implemented through the BUR in the period IV.2025-VI.2027. Specific objectives: 1. building motivation to develop skills/competences or acquire qualifications and determining development needs among at least 272 out of 320 adults through the implementation of additional support (within the period V.2025-VI.2027) 2. Increasing or changing competences or qualifications among at least 272 out of 320 people through the implementation of the FWC as part of the subjective system of financing through the BUR (within the period V.2025-VI.2027) 1.Additional support 2.Development Services Results: - Number of adults in development services: 320 - Number of persons who obtained a qualification after leaving the programme: 272 The implementation of the main objective will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the FEM programme for Mazovia for 2021-2027: CP4.G - supporting lifelong learning (...) The project provides preferences for the implementation of development services for vocational education in areas relevant to the region (in terms of adaptation to changes in industry and production, including the green economy) - KP2 The project is aimed at supporting the education of adults who deal with or want to take up employment in broadly understood long-term care services of a social nature, including improving the competences and skills of informal carers as part of long-term care - KP3 The project is implemented in the Strategic Intervention Areas (SIA) designated in the National Regional Development Strategy (NRSD) and resulting from the Development Strategy WM 2030+ Innovative Mazovia: The project is implemented in the area covered by the Mazovian Structural Territorial Investments (MSIT) or the Municipal Revitalization Program (GPR) - KP5
