Warsaw Centre for Social Economy Support

The project "Warsaw Social Economy Support Centre" will be implemented in Warsaw by the partnership FISE, BORIS, FRSO. The aim of the project is to provide comprehensive social economy support services by the accredited OWES, primarily through the creation of jobs in the ES sector for people excluded and enlarged countries, by granting non-repayable financial support for the persons referred to in Article 2(6) of the Act on social economy. 5 August 2022 on ES. Main objective: 1. Support active social inclusion to promote equal opportunities, non-discrimination and active participation, and enhance employability, in particular of disadvantaged groups, by supporting social enterprises and social economy actors. Specific objectives: 1. Increase in employment of persons referred to in Article 2(6) of the Social Economy Act through financial and substantive support for the creation of at least 139 jobs for the above persons in existing and newly created FVCs over a period of 48 months (for 71 women and 68 men) 2. Creation of at least 35 (for 15 women and 20 men) jobs in the social services sector in 139 jobs. 3. Improving the functioning of at least 9 PES from the Warsaw subregion covered by direct support under the project over a 48-month period. 4. Improving the conditions of operation of PES and PS by promoting the idea of a local partnership for the social economy in the Warsaw subregion within 48 months. As a result of the financial support for redundancies and redundancies, there will be an increase in the number of jobs in relation to the number of already existing jobs in the PS or PES transforming into the PS, which has been awarded the financial support for the creation of a new job area. Preference will be given to people affected by poverty or social exclusion for whom the reintegration path requires further support under the reintegration support. Services provided under the project to entities and people affected by social and poverty will be complex and adapted to the individual needs of recipients. ES development support services will specifically promote the area of social services and green economy and waste management, including recycling. As part of the support provided, WOWES will inform PES about the possibility of participating in competitions announced from ESF+ funds under the FEM and FERS 2021-2027, as well as support PES in applying for public procurement. It will also maintain a list of supported entities on its website, in accordance with the Competition Rules and the MRiPS guidelines. WOWES will actively support PES in obtaining external support, in particular for the development of skills, competences or the acquisition of qualifications using BUR. Cooperation agreements will be signed with financial operators operating within the framework of the BUR, providing support in the area of the OWES operation. The work of specialized OWES staff and employed experts will affect the development of the PES/PS potential and will increase stable cooperation with JSTs in the field of social services, which will translate into the development and increase in the number and quality of services provided by these entities and the number of jobs and annual turnover of PES/PS. Activities will be carried out in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities for women and men, accessibility for people with special needs, the principle of sustainable development and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. Support for the social economy can contribute to the creation of new services and jobs at local level, which in the long term may increase their role in the socio-economic development of the region, and this will translate into an increase in the number of PES/PS and the development of existing entities, thus increasing the employment of people excluded and at risk of exclusion and increasing the scope of tasks carried out by PES/PS, in particular in the field of social services and the green economy.
