Before submitting the application, the applicant analysed the problems and needs of the TA and the project environment, and the planned activities will correspond to the identified needs and problems of the TA in terms of socio-economic integration. WN. carried out a diagnosis of the situation of third-country nationals in WM and support under P. is based on the above-mentioned diagnosis and takes into account the specificity of third-country nationals and migration in RMR. The activities offered under the project will not be financed from other public funds at the same time. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (statistics from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund Programme), Poland has been a destination country for legal migration in the EU for several years, attractive for labour migrants and notes an increase in the share of third-country nationals in the labour market, estimating it at over 5%. Strengthening the asylum and migration system and improving services for applicants for international protection, which are the subject of the AMIF Programme, needs to be complemented by actions supporting third-country nationals to find their place in society and the labour market, without which their integration is incomplete. The Office for Foreigners, through the centres operating in Mazovia, provides third-country nationals with appropriate support at the stage of legalising their stay in Poland, but in accordance with the needs of third-country nationals diagnosed, there are needs related to integration with the local community and finding their place on the labour market and professional activation. According to statistics from 2020, there were 78 349 permanent residents in Poland, 241 576 temporary residents of third-country nationals (this is the collective name of non-EU nationals), among them the majority of people: Ukrainian, Belarusian, Vietnamese and Russian. Among them are forced migrants (people who, for reasons beyond their control, have had to leave the country of their previous residence and cannot return to it). As of January 2022, more than 1.5 million Ukrainians lived in Poland alone. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, an additional 3 million 200,000 Ukrainians arrived in Poland in a very short time.
