The project titled ‘Protection of cultural heritage through the renovation of the Skarbków Manor in Grodzisk Mazowiecki’ entails the renovation of the historic Skarbków Manor, which houses the seat of the T. Baird State School of Music in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The main objective of the project is to improve access to high-quality social offer in Grodzisk Mazowiecki based on material cultural heritage. This will be achieved through specific objectives: - improving the preservation of the material cultural heritage of the municipality of Grodzisk Mazowiecki thanks to the revaluation of the Skarbków Manor, - extending the cultural and educational offer based on the historic facility of the Skarbków Manor in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. As a result of the planned conservation and renovation works, it is assumed that the existing function of the facility will be maintained, i.e. for the purposes of artistic and cultural education, while thanks to the works carried out inside and outside the facility, it will be possible to implement new elements of the cultural and educational offer for this building. The planned construction works will include replacement of window and door joinery, renovation and partial replacement of interior door joinery, shingle renovation of roofing, hydro- and thermal insulation of vertical foundation walls, renovation of basement rooms, renovation of the building facade and renovation of the fence from the side of ul. It's Okulicki. The building of the Skarbków Manor, after carrying out the necessary construction, renovation and conservation works, will increase access to social services in the field of culture. There will be such elements of the offer addressed to the townspeople as, among others, historical walks, acoustic concerts, vernissages. The activities of the new social offer will be: take into account new substantive elements, thanks to which awareness and cultural education will be built (as a result of the project, new content related to the life and work of Jan Bogumił Plersch and others related to local history and tradition will appear), - direct the offer to a wide range of recipients, i.e. children, adults, seniors and people with disabilities (it is assumed that the project will also contribute to the participation in culture of people who have not yet used the cultural offer of the municipality - including residents of the area, who can use educational paths within the historic park), - take into account new forms of participation in culture (thanks to the project, historical walks and temporary exhibitions will take place in the municipality of Grodzisk Mazowiecki), - enable the increase of the creativity of society (painting workshops will build the creativity of the community).
