The project concerns the renovation and reconstruction of 2 historic tenement houses - at ul. Zduńska 2 and Plac 15 August 5 - in the center of the city of Płońska with temporary development of the surrounding area. The aim of the project is to restore the proper functionality of residential and service tenement houses and the surrounding area. The tenement houses covered by the project are in poor technical condition, do not meet the requirements of the current construction law, the area around the tenement houses is devastated, there is no greenery and space for spending free time on it. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the residents of the revitalization area by achieving specific objectives: improving housing conditions and conditions for conducting service activities in 2 tenement houses, as well as developing unused space around for social purposes, activating the local community, contributing to the improvement of the environment, including by planting greenery. This space will give the opportunity to implement cultural and educational activities in the open air for the residents of the revitalization area, also on their initiative. These objectives are in line with the objective of CP5 - A Europe closer to citizens by supporting the sustainable and integrated development of all types of territories and local initiatives and ERDF.CP5.I - Fostering integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism and security in urban areas. After the implementation of the project, the tenement houses will retain their existing residential and service function (the rooms on the ground floor will be rented for services - cult activities, educative activities of the creative sector, while the higher ones will be communal apartments). The devastated area behind the buildings will be cleaned up, developed with greenery and small architecture, so that it can be used for outdoor cultural and educational events, animation actions, outdoor exhibitions, etc. various types of social events at the initiative of residents and will be a meeting place for residents. The project will be implemented in the municipality of Płońsk, for which the value of the G-index is lower than PLN 3986.59 and amounts to PLN 2657.55, according to data published by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Statistical Office (G-index - basic tax income per capita of the municipality adopted for the calculation of the compensatory subsidy for 2024). It results from the Płońsk Revitalization Program, entered into the List of Revitalization Programs of the Mazowieckie Voivodship (pos. 22, date of entry 09.04.2024). The project is a stage of implementation of the basic project No. ‘May we live better together’, described at p. 88-90 gpr. The facilities are located in the historical center of the city, where a new space is needed to implement the cult-education offer of the city in the open air, among others by the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk, in particular by the museum facility located on the market, the House of Remembrance, but also by the Studio of Documentation of the History of the City, the Museum of Płońsk Land and the Tourist Information Center located in the market square in the adjacent tenement house, converted to the CIT function as part of the market revitalization (project 1. pt. B.3.1. water). The implementation of the project - through the new space will thus contribute to the development of the cult.-education. offer: outdoor exhibitions, outdoor historical-cultural-educational workshops, outdoor educational-animation actions. It will enable the implementation of the remaining few social projects from the GPR: X/P Intergenerational integration using cultural heritage for identity building; XI/P Save from Oblivion – Płońsk on the pages of history; II/U Płońsk Cultural Summer - cyclical thematic events; III/U Płoński volunteering for cultural heritage XII/P The revitalization area is a good place for entrepreneurs' activities; XVI/P I am ECO, or YOU! and IV/U. The above projects will be implemented for at least 1 year from the end of the project.
