The implementation of the project assumes the purchase and installation of energy storage facilities in the Nowy Wiśnicz Commune, which aims to increase energy efficiency, improve the energy independence of residents and reduce electricity costs. The initiative includes the installation of electricity storage facilities in 60 households that already have photovoltaic installations. Thanks to energy storage, it will be possible to effectively collect surplus energy produced by solar panels, which will allow their use in periods of increased demand, especially outside energy production hours. The main goal of the project is to optimize energy consumption, which has a direct impact on reducing energy costs for residents. In addition, the project supports the pursuit of sustainable development of the region by increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance. The introduction of modern technological solutions, such as energy storage, enables better energy management at local level, while increasing the energy resilience of households to changes in energy supply and potential price fluctuations in the market. Through the implementation of this project, the Nowy Wiśnicz Commune not only contributes to improving the quality of life of residents, but also promotes sustainable energy development, which is an important element of the region's ecological strategy. The project is an important step towards building a more sustainable and energy independent local community. Type of energy storage purchased and installed under the project: As part of the project, the purchase and installation of: - 48 units of energy storage for each of 4 kW and 6 kWh capacity - 12 units of energy storage for each of 7 kW and 10 kWh capacity Total power of energy storage: 276 kW Total energy storage capacity: 408 kWh Warehouses planned for purchase are correctly dimensioned for each building individually on the basis of an analysis of the energy consumption profile in individual buildings. Each of the facilities where the installation of energy storage facilities is planned has been subjected to a detailed technical inspection. These inspections aimed to assess the energy consumption profile and the compatibility of existing renewable energy installations (RES), such as photovoltaic panels, with the planned energy storage. As part of this process, the Municipality also carried out an analysis of energy consumption data and collected detailed surveys from facility owners. These surveys included information on the parameters of electricity consumption in buildings, as well as specifications and assumptions for existing photovoltaic panels. On the basis of the collected information, including data from technical inspections and surveys, a precise selection of power and capacity of energy storages was made. This takes into account both the current energy needs of buildings and potential surpluses of energy produced by existing photovoltaic installations. The project is implemented in the form of an umbrella project, i.e. by a local government unit for the benefit of final recipients – residents of the Nowy Wiśnicz Commune. The project does not include public buildings or other buildings that are not single-family residential buildings. The commune of Nowy Wiśnicz within which the project is being implemented is located in the Wiśnicko-Lipnicki Landscape Park. The project is implemented in areas of natural value, indicated in the landscape audit project: - Muchówka - Rajbrot (forests) - 12-513.34-37 - Królówka - Muchówka - 12-513.34-43 - Leksandrowa - Połom Duże - 12-513.34-52 The project is not implemented in medium-sized cities losing socio-economic functions. There are no health resorts in the Nowy Wiśnicz Commune (there is no health resort and there is no health resort protection area).
