CONSTRUCTION OF THE WATER NETWORK AT UL. THE KAZIMIERZ OF THE GREAT AND MARKET IN THE NEW SIGNIFICANT - STAGE II - MARKET.

The project consists in modernizing the water supply network in Nowy Wiśnicz, aimed at ensuring stability, safety and improving the quality of life of residents, as well as promoting the sustainable development of the region. The main assumption of the project is to replace the outdated pipeline infrastructure and other water supply elements, which have been significantly consumed in more than 50 years of existence. New materials and technologies are aimed at minimizing the risk of accidents, leakages and water pollution, which will contribute to increasing public safety and protecting the health of residents. The project complies with legal and normative requirements regarding the quality of drinking water and infrastructure standards, which will allow to meet the applicable regulations and raise the living standards of residents. By modernizing the water supply network, it is also planned to support the economic development of the region by improving infrastructure, which can attract new investors and have a positive impact on the local economy. The project is not only strategic from the point of view of public health and sustainable development, but also a priority step to ensure public safety and the sustainability of urban infrastructure. According to GUS data for 2022, the population of the Nowy Wiśnicz Commune is below 15,000 (14,41 thousand people). The project does not plan to cut down trees or shrubs. The applicant is an urban-rural municipality. The age of the modernized water supply network is 54 years. It is planned to apply the Standard for the protection of trees and other forms of greenery. The modernized water supply network will not affect the surrounding trees and other green plants. The project of the modernized water supply network at the design stage was planned in such a way that the network minimizes interference for existing trees - the route does not in any way violate this area of tree protection. The implementation of the project itself will be carried out by using trenchless techniques and avoiding root tree growth zones. The scope of the project fits into the areas of activities indicated in the "Investment Programme for improving the quality and reducing losses of water intended for human consumption". The area that is consistent with the scope of this project is: DISTRIBUTION NETWORK, which directly includes actions aimed at improving the technical condition of the network infrastructure – construction and modernisation, monitoring (hydraulic and qualitative monitoring) and process modelling, minimizing problems related to secondary water pollution, providing publicly accessible water abstraction points (wells, springs, street spas). This project includes the modernisation of the water supply network in order to improve the technical condition of the network infrastructure and thus minimise problems with secondary pollution or water losses and to ensure adequate access to this resource for residents of the municipality of Nowy Wiśnicz.
