The main objective of the task is to improve the safety of vulnerable road users on district roads (ul. The Slovak, Al. Piaskowa) and communal roads (ul. Rejtana and ul. Complaints). As part of the project, lighting of pedestrian crossings will be made along with the arrangement of paving stones on the section from the existing pavement to the pedestrian crossing. The project also assumes laying the integration cube in the places indicated on the land development project and lowering the curbs, which will allow people with special needs and parents with children in strollers to freely cross the road. There will also be a bicycle ride at the intersection of the district road ul. Słowackiego through the communal road ul. Complaints. As part of the task, one pedestrian crossing will be built through the Piaskowa Avenue district road with dedicated lighting, integration cube and the necessary infrastructure. Lighting of pedestrian crossings will be made by installing lighting poles with a boom with a total height of 6m to 6.5m on which LED luminaires will be mounted. In addition, the lighting poles of pedestrian crossings, from the side of the inrun, will be equipped with amber pulsating light signaling access to the point where special care should be taken. The poles will be powered by a low-voltage cable line type YKY 3x1Omm2 in accordance with the obtained conditions from the owner of the existing lighting network TAURON New Technologies. The designed pedestrian crossing, low-voltage cable line and lighting lamps will be located in places that do not hinder the communication of the existing road and entrances to private property. The planned reconstruction will be carried out entirely within the existing road lane. Existing pedestrian crossings are currently insufficiently lit, which may cause danger for drivers of motor vehicles as well as pedestrians using the crossing. In the vicinity of the buildings, there are single-family houses, bus stops, Student's House, School School Schools and Ignacy Jan Paderewski Secondary School of Music, Janusz Korczak Fifth Secondary School and other commercial and service companies. The improvement of pedestrian safety is also necessary due to road accidents recorded by the Tarnów Police. From 2022 to 2023, on ul. Juliusz Słowacki recorded a total of 17 collisions at ul. Piotr Skarga reported one road collision, at Al. A total of 1 accident and 9 collisions, in connection with which one person suffered. On ul. No road accidents were recorded between 2022 and 2023 by Tadeusz Rejtan. In order to ensure the safety of people using the pedestrian crossings in question, pole stands with LED lighting fixtures with the parameters indicated in the photometric calculations will be built in the indicated places. The designed luminaires will be powered by a low-voltage cable line that will be attached to the existing lighting lamp. The designation of pedestrian crossings, the construction of a low-voltage cable line and the location of pole posts will be carried out along a route that takes into account existing and planned land development.
