The main objective of the project is to support gender-balanced participation in the labour market, equal working conditions and work-life balance, including through access to care for children and people in need of daily support. The goal will be achieved by adjusting at least 34 places of care for children with disabilities or at risk of disability to 3 years of age, supporting their parents/legal guardians of at least 11 people (11K) who want to return or enter the labour market and maintain employment as a result of the above-mentioned adaptation of places in the crèche, improving the qualifications and competences of the staff providing care in the crèche by implementing courses and other educational activities in the field of care for the above-mentioned children up to 3 years of age. Activities will be implemented in Żłobek in the Łużna Commune (Małopolskie Province) in the period 02.09.2024 to 28.02.2026 Target group of the project: 11 people (11 women, including 9 working women and 2 unemployed women), residing, working or studying in the Łużna commune (Małopolskie Province, within the meaning of the CC regulations) The main tasks that will be carried out under the project: Activity 1: Implementation of specialized classes for children under 3 years of age DZN or DZGN Task 2: Provide individual/group support for parents/legal guardians of children up to 3 years of age with DZN or DZGN by providing assistance by qualified specialists Task 3: Providing specialised training/courses/workshops for crèche staff in order to improve the qualifications/competences of those directly involved in the care of DZN or DZGN Task 4: Retrofitting the crèche to ensure appropriate care conditions The main results that will be achieved through the implementation of the project will be: Number of people who returned to the labour market after a break related to the birth / upbringing of a child or maintained employment, found a job or are looking for a job after leaving the program - 11os. 2.Number of persons who obtained a qualification after leaving the program-4os. The main objective of the project directly results from the specific objective ESF+.CP4.C - FEM 2021-2027 and the regulations for measure 6.5. The support will cover parents/legal guardians of children up to 3 years old with disabilities and children at risk of disability who, at the time of joining the project, have the status of an unemployed, inactive or working person (including a learner - from the Małopolska Province) in terms of performing parental functions. At the same time, the only one operating in the Commune, the Local Government Nursery in Łużna, will be supported. The project also involves improving the competences and qualifications of the staff of the crèche facility, as well as improving the accessibility of the crèche to the needs of children with disabilities or at risk of disability, in the service and/or competence sense. The implementation of the main goal is addressed to the Local Government Nursery in Łużna and includes support of 11 parents / legal guardians of children up to 3 years of age with disabilities or at risk of disability defined at the facility level by the staff, psych support specialists and 4 caregivers (4K) employed in the nursery. The diagnosis includes solutions for adapting existing care facilities in the crèche to the needs of children up to 3 years with disabilities or at risk of disability and the principle of universal design and rational adaptation for children with special needs. The implementation of the project will result in a comprehensive and lasting improvement of the quality of services provided and the preparation of the crèche, staff, parents / guardians in terms of appropriate conduct, work, understanding and care for a child up to 3 years of age with a disability or at risk of disability. The tasks are correlated with the main goal and result from the diagnosed, individual needs of the nursery and target groups.
