The aim of the project is to: - support immigrants in professional activation, with particular emphasis on identified sectors of the labour market, industries, professions or competences in which there is a deficit of potential employees in the province; - strengthening the awareness of residents and entities from Małopolska and foreigners regarding the social and economic benefits associated with taking up employment in Poland and Małopolska and developing a cooperation network aimed at supporting migrants. The target group of the project will be foreigners, third-country nationals legally residing in Poland, employers employing or intending to employ foreigners in Małopolska, public institutions providing services for foreigners. As part of the project, it will be launched in the Project Office (BP) with headquarters in Krakow and branches in Outside Teams (ZZ), where foreigners will receive individualized support depending on their needs and capabilities, including: intercultural counsellor/assistant services (including assistance in solving various adaptation problems, in preparing a CV and preparing for a job interview); Adaptation and integration workshops; additional services (legal advice, tax advice, translation services, business advice, career counselling, psychological support, etc.); Polish language courses; workshops on running a business, labour law and employee attitudes expected by Małopolska employers; courses/training – including but not limited to vocational training tailored to the needs of a specific employer; assistance in the process of confirmation/recognition of qualifications and nostrification of the diploma and co-financing of related costs; settlement allowance; access to a computer station with a printer. Support will also be provided to employers employing or intending to employ foreigners, including: providing information in the field of employment of foreigners, including legal services in the field of employment of foreigners, webinars on employment of foreigners and legalization of stay; for SMEs, translation services of recruitment and job documentation facilitating the employment of a foreigner; striving to compensate for wage inequalities and support in the case of employment of a person without work experience in Poland or with poor knowledge of the Polish language / lack of qualifications / other deficits through, for example, co-financing the costs of employing a foreigner, mentoring and integration allowance; training in multiculturalism, cultural communication and management of a diverse team. Awareness-raising activities will also be carried out, building the attitude of the host society, creating the image of Małopolska as a region friendly to foreigners and disseminating the social and economic benefits associated with taking up employment in Poland and Małopolska, including the establishment of the Małopolska Partnership for Integration and Multiculturalism (MPIW). The main results of the project will be the creation of the Project Office in Krakow with points in ZZ (Tarnów, Nowy Sącz, Oświęcim) and support for 1200 people – third-country nationals legally residing in Małopolska in the process of integration, gaining employment and improving their situation on the labour market. As part of the project, aid will be granted to 150 employers, including 80 SMEs, to co-finance the improvement of employees' competences and facilitate integration in the workplace. On the other hand, awareness-raising and knowledge-raising events organized as part of the project will contribute to increasing the competences of public employees of institutions, employers and Małopolska.
