Mature weather in the Olkusz commune

The aim of the project is to increase the availability of social services in the Olkusz district by creating 30 places of a day care centre for dependent persons in the Olkusz district (M. Olkusz) as well as launching a Support Centre for informal/actual caregivers of dependent persons. The participants of the project (UP) will be 40 dependent people (23K,17M) and 40 informal carers (25K, 15M) living or working in the district. The project assumes the provision of care and nursing services and activation of dependent persons, as well as support for real carers implemented in the Caregivers Support Centre through educational and advisory support services, activities increasing the access of informal carers to information, as well as information and education activities addressed to the staff of various systems related to care The facility will offer care during the day, including meals, rehabilitation, cultural and educational activities, group and individual occupational therapy for maintaining psychophysical condition, psychotherapy and spending free time together with other elderly people. All classes will be conducted under the care of experienced specialists, such as carers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists. The persons covered by the project will receive support aimed at maintaining an optimal psychophysical state, maintaining independence and activity in order to counteract the aggravation of dysfunctions related to the aging process and/or disability. The Caregiver Support Centre will offer comprehensive assistance to informal caregivers of people requiring daily care. The centre will offer support groups, individual counselling, training and care practices, as well as assistance in care management. Caregivers will also have access to information on support and benefit systems and will be able to benefit from relief services that provide temporary alternative care. In addition, the center will facilitate access to care and rehabilitation equipment and provide training in its operation. The applicant declares the implementation of the social services model in accordance with the Model of institutions providing daily care in Małopolska and the Model of running caregiver support centers. The project is implemented according to. SZOP in types: A. Caring for people who need support in their day-to-day operations B. Support for informal carers. c. Adapting the infrastructure to the scope of services provided.
