Development and implementation of a sustainable, proprietary technology for the production of composite CWU tanks used in RES-based heating installations

The project consists in the development and implementation into own business practice of proprietary technology for the production of composite hot water storage tanks (CWU) used in heating installations, in particular those based on RES. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the Applicant will be the first Polish manufacturer to offer composite hoppers on the market, a more advantageous and ecological alternative to steel hoppers widespread in the industry. As the first manufacturer in Europe, it will offer a composite combined tray on the market, combining the advantages of a CWU tray and a C.O. buffer. Compared to current steel trays, innovative composite trays will be characterized by lower weight, greater durability, the possibility of replacing components, reduction of operating costs, removable thermal insulation. Combined storage tanks will increase the efficiency of the heat pump while reducing the energy costs needed to maintain the desired temperature and use the heat pump for heating or cooling. The innovative technology will eliminate the enameling process that generates a significant burden on the environment, increase efficiency and reduce labor intensity, produce 2 variants of the tray of different diameters within 1 line, automatic quality control within 3 key parameters, lower density of the thermal insulation core. The R&D module includes the implementation of Industrial Research (1 task) and Development Work (4 tasks). The Innovation Implementation module includes the implementation of 2 tasks: construction of technological ventilation and purchase of fixed assets necessary to start production on an industrial scale. The project responds to the development trends in the growing demand for RES solutions in energy and heating, residential and economic construction, emphasizing the improvement of the functional qualities of storage tanks and technology consistent with the principles of sustainable development.
