The subject of the project is to increase the competitiveness and innovation of Ecol-Unicon, which deals with the production, sale, assembly and servicing of equipment for treatment, storage, transport of water and wastewater, as well as water and sewage infrastructure management and monitoring systems. The company has its own Research and Development Department, which deals with the development and implementation of many innovations, which are new on a national and international scale. As part of the R&D module, an Intelligent Storm Transfer Chamber with a movable overflow edge will be developed, equipped with a system of intelligent control of discharges to sewage receivers. The system will aim to improve the condition of receivers, limiting the discharge of harmful substances. The main innovative features of the chamber to be developed include the control of the moving edge of the storm overflow based on the developed multi-criteria control algorithms to limit the discharge rate to 10 times per year and to reduce the discharge volume by at least 60% per year. As part of the Digitalization module, modern digital solutions related to cybersecurity will be implemented, including Hyper-V replication enabling the replication of virtual machines. As part of the Internationalization module, the company's representatives will participate twice (in 2024 and 2026) in the IFAT fair in Munich. This is the world fair of water and wastewater management, where the company has been present for many years. At the fair, it is planned to promote products from the company's offer, such as oil and fat separators, sewage compressor stations, active ENA neutralizers and the water-channel monitoring and management system (Bumerang Smart). Under the Greening of Enterprises module, a photovoltaic installation will be purchased and installed in three production plants of the company (Łódź, Gdańsk and Ruda Śląska), which will increase the use of renewable energy sources to power the production of products.
