The main objective of the project is to develop innovative products using raw materials from waste, resulting from technological processes carried out in sewage treatment plants, thermal waste disposal and water treatment. It is planned to conduct industrial research in the field of analysis of selected technological waste streams with a high potential for secondary use and to develop on their basis the composition of innovative mixtures for use in industrial purposes, i.e. construction, agriculture, energy and technology. The project also includes the implementation of development works aimed at producing selected mixtures on a larger scale, as well as verification of their quality and effectiveness compared to commercially available products, taking into account the planned paths of their use. The above activities are also aimed at developing solutions consisting in reorganizing the model of the company's operation in the field of waste management from linear economy to circular economy. Innovation in the WMK business process will consist in the introduction of a comprehensive, sustainable approach to the issue of waste management, based on the maximum reduction of their amount by increasing the use in new materials and products for various purposes. It is planned that the project will result in the creation of eco-innovative mixtures from selected waste streams that will meet the criteria and quality requirements for products used in the following sectors: construction, fertilizer, fuel and municipal (water and sewage industry). It is assumed that the implementation of the project results in the form of waste-free technology will bring measurable economic benefits and will enable the demonstration of a model GOZ solution in a water and sewage company.
