IT MATTER Sp. z o.o. will submit an application for a Eurogrant under the LIFE Programme instrument launched by the European Network and Information Security Executive Agency (ENISA). Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA). The application in the area of Climate change mitigation and adap- tation - Standard Projects (SAP) - will be submitted in accordance with the set date by 17 September 2024 at 17.00. Link to LIFE website: https://cinea.ec.europa.eu/programmes/life/life-calls-proposals-2024_en The LIFE sub-programme on climate change mitigation and adaptation will contribute to the transition to a sustainable and climate-neutral economy. The scope of the project and planned costs under Measure 02.12 Grants for Eurogrants include: the process of finding partners, validating the concept, preparing a syndicated Eurogrant application in the LIFE Programme competition in cooperation with an advisory company, and supporting the process of evaluating the application and correspondence with the Commission. IT MATTER will take part in workshops on various areas of the competition application (including R&D works, budget, market and implementation analysis, resources) with the consulting company preparing Eurogrant. Projects that will be awarded: min. 55 points/100 points and min. 10/20 points, in each of the 4 criteria: importance, impact, implementation, resources will be considered for co-financing. The planned Eurogrant will concern the development of technologies for capturing CO2 from point sources, e.g. from chimneys during the combustion of sewage sludge/lime production and the subsequent storage of CO2 in the form of hydrogen carbonate (HCO3-) in water bodies and the reduction of their acidification. The technology is based on the natural process of ventilate limestone, and its advantage is a shorter process lead time - a few minutes. The role of IT MATTER will be to develop a measuring system and sensors. Planned costs in the budget of the Eurogrant project (LIFE): salaries, subcontracting and services, travel and maintenance, equipment and infrastructure.
